Wait wait wait... I had everything ready for this step, everything was right, but when I did the looooong algorithm (and I watched everymovement you made, paused the video, did the same on my cube, clicked on play again, watched, paused, did it, play again, etc, to be sure not to mess up the algorithm by doing the inverted move instead of the simple) and it messed up my whol cube... I can start all over ... I jsut don't understand ...

I did the steps correctly and there is always and unsolved piece in the bottom-middle of each face so there can never be an unsolved cube in the middle right of the face. help anyone?

@thekkl that is because you just put a wrong piece in so the piece you need comes out, you can also do it with the left side with the first algorithm

Number 3b NEVER works when I do the text version. It works when I follow what he did, but not when reading it. 3a always works. I even did 3b backwards when it didn't work (like always) and got where I started, all green, but one edge piece wrong, red and blue, blue is where red should be and vice versa. Any one have the same problem? or know how to fix it?

@punypawFAIL Watch one step at a time and master it before moving on to the next step. the first thing I focused on was getting the first layer done correctly and that's all I cared about. Then I worked on getting the 2nd layer done and that's all I cared about. I can now get the first 2 layers done in about 1 minute. It's taken me 3 days to get this good.  I still have no clue how to finish it and I've yet to watch the next video but I'm ready to figure it out now though.

Keep at it dude, you'll get it. Took me about 2 weeks before I got all the algorithm's down, and about 2 more weeks before I could solve the cube consistently. You just have to practice and have confidence. Because you will get it, and you'll feel so accomplished when you finally do.

your top layer may not all be the same because if you went by what the directions say in the info box the last step in number 1 is typed wrong...go by what he has in the actual video...instead of F' it's U' so the step would be F' U L' U'
