Black Star mentions that Maka was being selfish too. Then she tried to punch him. Then she DID punch him. Then she went off screaming. Maka started it. Black Star's the strongest and Maka was complaining because she couldn't keep up.

Black Star is the stronger one so they should be resonating with him. He only called her selfish because she was blaming everything on him and calling him selfish and then she went and complained to Stein. Also after Maka ran off Black Star ASKED Tsubaki if she could help the situation. That's more than what Maka did to help the problem.

Sure Maka told him that he didn't care for anyone else, but he accepted that and said why he should bother with her, she's weak. Agreed. The serial soul resonance was about understanding and accepting each other. Black Star didn't accept the others- he DEMANDED that they accept him, which would've been fine, but he didn't put forth the same effort, so no, Stein- it's not Maka's fault- it's Black Stars.

Honestly... I don't normally get worked up over TV shows like this, but this single episode just really gets under my skin and pisses me off.

The Chain Resonance is about acceptance and understanding, which is why Tsubaki had to talk to Maka about accepting Black Star. Who talked to Black Star about accepting? No one. Because he knew what he was doing. Don't try to read between imaginary lines.

If that's the case, then why did Death the Kid's soul "tendril" break away from Black Star's soul? If the problem was just between Maka and Star, then I could believe that completely, but I don't see how that matches up.
