I think I would have preferred it if he did sing about a lost secret love and he never told her how he felt until it was too late. The song just sounds soo depressing and sad but beautiful. The real story doesn't really fit with the song!! :(

hes in a pub drinking and he meets this girl and they get to taalking he realizes that theyv missed a bus but he doesnt say nething so he can spend some more time with her. finally he says "fuck wev issed the bus" and shes like " no no my boyfriend(or fiance) is coming to pick me up.
