i have a gio ibanez, idk if its the strings or the guitar, but i cant vibrato and bend the strings as much as you can in the vid. i change my strings every 2 years and i try bending them alot so that it becomes easier. any suggestions? im currently saving up to get an ML Dean just like Dime too

I have a Dean with dimebags face on it with all that green lightning and stuff (the dimoblade look it up its cool). But to max it out i wanted some dime pickups till i found they were like £400 can i find any that are cheeper.

But he had such a unique sound that without his guitar and his pickups nothing will probably sound very authentic. I recommended the Krank amp mostly for straight power (since erickdg was using the rp90 for tone), though messing around with a Randall probably would give you a more accurate Dimebag tone.

Yeah I can help. Buy a Krank amp. I've got an rp200 and it's a really good system, but you'll probably need a really good amp or a Metal Muff distortion pedal and good pickups to make a spot-on Dimebag tone. Use a high gain amp and use a scoop for EQ on your rp90, that should give you something similar.

wrong. actually dime (when in standard), tuned to what he called a "C hair flat" . he did this in all songs. its a pain in the ass to try to tune to . this is whay if u play with the album its sounds fucked up because he was tuned a little bit low...just sayin

The first Warhead appeared on the front of some gigs on the Reinventing The Steel -tour, but later in that tour he switched back to his old Randall RG100HT because he hated the leadtone he got in the Warhead.

The Kranks was used for about 4 weeks before he died, since they had just developed his final amp then.

And before that he played with Randall RG100HT live, but had Cyclones etc. up front for "the looks".
