my nieces had these dolls when they were really small. these dolls, in addition to being ugly as fuck, have loud, annoying voices and come on by themselves and they are kind of demanding and teach little girls to be bossy. I remember their dolls saying stuff like, "I need my pack!" or "I need my brush!" ...never please or thank you.

That's not true. A friend of mine has an Amazing Allysen and I played with her a little while. She says "thank you" and "please" and I don't think she's bossy. But sometimes she has a hearing-problem because she wants to "call a friend" when you tell her "play a game" (Gosh, she's addicted to her phone). And she's repeating herself again and again, so that's the reason why she becomes boring very fast. That's why Amazing Allysen is not longer on the market.

My nieces had the early versions of this doll, Amazing Amy and Amazing Ally. i think they went through the entire catalogue of the amazing dolls and they are all pretty much the same boring doll. the company changed alley from a little girl to a teen and that is why she talks about her phone all the time, and i thnk she teaches kids to be shallow.
