i found out about aviv geffen from listening to blackfield (a band i found because of steven wilson). hearing his work in blackfield i wasn't impressed. i also new about this song, separately, had heard it at temple, heard the story involved with it, and was very moved by it. making the connection between aviv and this song has caused me to gain a lot of respect for aviv. that's what i get for passing judgement hastily
