I am wondering where the myth started that the sound was added for the DVD's...or remastered version. I've been showing people this blooper for almost 25 (!) years now....it was on all VHS tapes I saw!

They may have enhanced the sound, but it was always there: urban legend.

@killa200ful actually after the 3rd episode they are suppose to be just human recruits. but the whole army started as an army of clones... they are no clones anymore because "Camino", the planet where they were "born" was at war and the whole facility was just destroyed, so in the episodes 4 5 and 6 the Stormtroopers are all human recruits, cause the clones just died with the time, remember they grow up faster and actually get old faster than normal people
