another way rather than disconnecting from the internet:

1. Go into notepad and type this:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

2. go to file -> save as

3. choose in the drop down box("Save as Type") and choose "All Files"

4. after the file name type .bat

5. save

Now when you want to download just click on the file you made and it will automatically give you a new ip address

You actually just have to change your IP.

In case you are using a proxy server you would have to change the proxies IP. But usually you are connected via a router (like FritzBox) and just have to change its IP. I user jDownloader to do this automatically after each download. ;-)

If you MUST download from RapidShare, use Tor or a proxy to do it. If your downloads run out, then you can use a new identity which will give you a new IP in the end.
