  • OMG was she hoooottt!

  • MTM please get well (she has reported brain tumor surgery) your the best thanks for all the laughs!

  • She is a great comedian but never liked her in serious roles, she was never believeable in her serious roles. I saw her in a movie with Ted Danson he was her husband and died and found out he cheated on her, she is not meant for dramatic acting, just like Lucy wasn't meant for dramatic acting.

  • @JENDALL714 I saw her as the incestuous mother villain in a TV movie based on real events- I think her name in that was Sante (pronouned Shan-tay) Kimes. This might have been almost 10 years ago. I thought she was damn good playing it bad, against type. She and her grown son went on a robbing-killing spree. The show also had some other TV favorites in it, including Jean Stapleton in it. If you can find it, I recommend it.

  • I remember that episode. I was impressed that Laura Petrie knew the names of all those steps. I didn't know about Mary Tyler Moore's background as a dancer.

  • YES. MTM crys all the time. I Can't even remember a DVD or MTM espiode where Mary doesn't cry!!!

  • She is one of my favorites!! And I adore this show!!

    .....and I want her pants!

  • Anyone know of a clip where she breaks down and goes, "Oh, Rooooob!" in that divinely shaky voice?

  • @Victor1930 she is seriously THE BEST crier ever. EVER.

  • @actresstobe1991 omg YES! i learned how to cry funny because of mary tyler moore! =]

  • @Victor1930 She cries for ages in Bank Book 6565696 which i know is available on youtube :)

  • Anyone know of a video where she breaks down and goes, "Oh Rooob!" in that divine shaky voice?

  • I'm so in love!!

  • OMG- Laura Petrie was the ultimate fantasy for 12 yr old boys. Perfect in every way...

  • I'd say she is probably in the all time top ten sex pots of the bube tube. Anyone like to start a list.

  • what episode is this? i love the plad capris!

  • 'Too Many Stars'.

One of my favorites inasmuch as it shows off Miss Moore's background in the muse of terpsichore.

  • thank you ma'am!

  • @fishscale83 Season 3, episode 6 called "Too Many Stars" and aired on October 30, 1963.

  • @maestrojosh87 fouette? That's not how it's spelled... I mean I don't know personally, but that's not what she said... Read it out loud, and you'll hear it...

  • Wow. What a pretty lady.

  • I always want to bang MTM....I still would.

  • No, I prefer my life to watching the lame LITB

  • I Love her:D

    and this tv,show.

    its awesome.

    hahaha.

    :D

people, add me&&subsribe to me,please??i want lots of friennnnds.

  • Great episode! Love that Laura Petrie. And the older lady, Eleanor Audley, was one of the greatest character actresses ever.

  • Now how can you list all those shows and not have Leave It To Beaver? I know all those shows started in the 60's but Leave It To Beaver should be worthy of that list of great TV shows even though it started in the late 50's...I mean, it's an iconic show...It started the day Sputnik was launched and ended a few months before Kennedy was assasinated...

  • Not adding Leave It To Beaver was an oversight. I have now added it to my fav TV shows list. I especially like the 1962-63 season.

  • cool...I really like the episodes from 1961 to early 1962...

  • Leave it to Beaver was a piece of shit.

  • Just like your life? old guy...

  • @robertmastroianni

    LITB rocked!

  • Ah, thank you for clearing that one up. That helped. For a moment, there, I was nearly sure that that was Jessie Royce Landis.

  • And she can move alright! And it's true: the bigger they are, the better it is.

  • "And here's the effective part where you turn and sell it with a look" :D hah... I love the part where DVD imitates her doing this...hilarious...

  • @kristenfaulkmk haha i know this was a year ago but i watched this episode last night and repeated the bit where he imitated her about 15 times over :D i love how he's like 'oh..this darn carpet' hahaha

  • What a natural beauty. Luv MTM

  • ha ha "and now this is the effective part where you turn and sell it with a smile." that cracks me up. Mary Tyler Moore is so ADORABLE!

  • Such an adorable human being Mary Tyler Moore is.

  • the great Mary Tyler Moore........

  • I wish this went on to show DVD making fun of her little audtion. I always crack up when he imitates her in that scene.

  • Lest we all forget, Mary Tyler Moore was trained in the muse of Terpsichore.

  • Very nice....

It bears repeating that Miz Moore's terpsichorean turn as Happy Hotpoint is available via YouTube, as well.

  • I love how she knows all of the correct terms! Super cool!

  • whats the name of this episode?

  • Too Many Stars.
