    I am about 6'3 186 pounds atm. Been lifting about a year now. I have super small wrists I can wrap my index/thumb around it and overlap a little on the nail.. my calves are small i have a big waist my shoulders aren't necessarily narrow but not broad either. My neck is long and skinny I have no mid section defenition My arms look kinda big my chest doesn't really puff out that much. Id say I am about 14% body fat.

  • Ian McStruthers grip is so wide that he grips the weight on each end of the bar and he has no problem making all kinds o' gains!

  • fellas a good thing to remember is keeping a straight wrist whilst doing the bench press to reduce susceptibility to carpal tunnel syndrome

  • The best way u can find you bench press grip is to see how ur doing pushups! I prefer a doing a lil bit wider pushups and thats my bench grip!

  • Twins... before you bench, pull your shoulder blades together as tightly as possible, and tuck them downwards (not a shrug), this will take the stress off the shoulder joint... your shoulders must not move when you bench press... the rear delts must pull back and hold the shoulder blades together the entire time

  • @baller3994 I had the same problem forever, lower your weight and focus on using your pecs. If you have to, do flys one day, then while you're still sore, try it. That will allow you to feel your pecs working better and make it easier to focus on using them.

  • @cam44123 no stay in a comfortable safe range..i used to go as wide as the twins are saying but im 5ft7 so for me that was to wide and it ended up fucking my shoulder up! you can lift more weight like that but its not worth the months off time and time again! stay shoulder width dude
