Lmao. Drew recorded all the songs for high school musical 1. That's why Zac wasn't there. If you compare the songs from hsm 1 and hsm 2, Troy's voice is pretty different.

not quite, zac's voice was too low cus he was a baritone, so they blended it with drew's so he could reach the top notes, so it was like half zac/half drew. the rest of the movies were all zac but.

I am so late on this but here it goes.... people are saying he is lip syncing are wrong.. when it says "oh-oh". he has a mic on his head so he doesn't need the other mic. just watch it again and look closely. Drew rocks!!

If you actually listen to it, the sound quality of the 'uhh' is different from when you see him singing. That 'uh' was just a backup just in case he didn't do. Because singers don't usually do their 'oohs' an d'ahhs' in live performances. It's just in the vocal backup track. You have to listen and know when they're singing and when they're not before you say 'They're lipsynching'.
