Racing suspension on a diesel? If you have to haul heavy loads on or off road, you'll know that you can accomplish the task with this truck. I would also say that this isn't GMC's answer to the Raptor. Raptor was built for desert racing and this truck will be built to recover the Raptor when it breaks down.

about time general motors decided to copy ford, and pretty much fail at it. first off this is a concept so its probably not gonna look anything like this. second it doesent change the fact that its still a gm and third its pretty much like taking a denali with a truck bed off road and its guarunteed to break, the raptor will destroy this pile
This has nothing on the Raptor as far as offroad capability goes. It has Fox shocks, but those can only do so much. The Sierra has a torsion bar front end as opposed to the coilover on the Raptor. When offroading at speed it becomes night and day between the two with the advantage going to the coilover. This will be a great tow rig for getting your offroad toys out to the desert but not a great rig to go wheeling by itself.
@thecarnivore agreed. This truck would be amazing with a coilover set up. But unfortunately, GM is way to in love with its torsion bar set up... Maybe if it gets produced by a second-tier firm, i.e. Roush with the F-150, maybe they'd redo the suspension... IDK Still a sick truck tho.

jeez this is beast. I wouldn't add 20 inch rims though. Leave that to the hoods. Replace with 17 inch beadlock and make sure it has a front locker. I would buy
why does it say allison transmission duramax on the tag like on the lmm diesels, shouldn't it read allison transmission/duramax 6.6 hd, its an lml right. small issue, i just like the new 2011 duramax tags better than the lmm.

@TheTrihorn1 what Ram understands is how a diesel engine is too heavy for the demands of off road. you'll be getting stuck because the front of the truck is too damn heavy. This thing is in no way superior to a Ram Power wagon. good luck going off roading with an IFS on that thing, snap an A arm off guaranteed

And the powerwagon will kick this things ass in offroading. You cant have a affective combonation of desert sand runner, and a rock crawler and general offroad truck, it just doesn't work.
