  • great tips! thanks!

  • I know about breakage, I chopped my hair a year ago than chopped it again because it wouldn't stay in a neat do. Well I trimmed the last bit of my damaged hair last night, and I hope I will take better care. And use your rule. It curls beautifully now and I hope I can keep it this way. Don't comb or brush dry hair the ends will split, I found that out twice.

  • Just gonna call it like I see it: dear ladies PLEASE STOP FEEDING THE TROLL. He obviously is a sad lonely person, and I feel rather sorry for him. He seems love deprived...and short of a few screws. :D

  • Just because a few white people said something very rude and racist doesn't mean we have to bash the whole white race! BE THE CHANGE U WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD:)

  • They hate us so much but guess what bitch....we not going no fucking where no go and tell yo nutt guzzling white MOM to go suck on your dogs dick like u nasty white people do anyway....and im not lying...ive only seen white nasty bitches suck horses and dogs dick! Is that why white people mouth looks so DISGUSTING???! Lmao!

  • wow i rather be black than a ugly ass pale skin white bastard whose hair is stringy long and thin and smell like a dogs ass....yall or the ugliest thing god has made....just a bunch of nutt guzzling sweaty palmed funny built ass creatures with yalk funny lookin asses...oh and ps booty pops where made for white people just like u bitches go tanning and want big full pretty lips like black people...they are so jealous of us and want to be us...they already know black is beautiful!!!! ♥♥♥♥

  • Of all the racist things I have seen in these self help growth vids I love how my sisters have not once sank 2 the same level of ignorance n hate from which the racism derives. I love u all so much n thank u 4 not proving us to be what most c us as. And to the lovely lady who posted the video, sorry u have 2 endure this but 4 what it's worth, it helps. Thank u too

  • @tubeyou9878

U kno what, maybe u think ur hair is straighter & longer because unlike African Americans, u and "yours" catch dumb shit like mono! Or maybe it's because even at the age of 13 ur still hanging off ur moms saggy ass'd tits! Perhaps maybe....it's from u being molested by the 17th catholic priest in ur church!!! Hahhahaa tell u what...when ur done being a one tooth, redneck hillbilly, who roams from trailer to trailer cause ur mom was caught bumping her head under the desk of her bos

  • @tubeyou9878 Pathetic child. You know what I hate about YouTube? How the racist white people always stalk videos of black people and post negative comments. I mean if I didn't like someone, for whatever reason, I wouldn't want to be looking at pictures or videos of them. I swear, there is something wrong with people. I bet you dont even know why white people have white skin.

  • that was some nappy headed mess. I don't know what you would call it You couldn't call it a bird's nest. because birds would not nest in such a mess.

  • you never brush negro hair. You need to clarify. Negro hair white hair fine. You niggas got some fucked up hair. I would shave it off and where a wig seriously.

  • @tubeyou9878 WOW I WILL TELL YOU THIS: US QUOTE ON QUOTE NIGGAS MAY HAVE UGLY HAIR TO YOU BUT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BLACK HAIR. OUR HAIR BEING THICK IS ACTUALLY A GOOD THING TO PROTECT OUR SCALP FROM SUN DAMAGE AND IT MAY LOOK ROUGH BUT ITS SOFT TO THE TOUCH JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSES. AND OUR HAIR ISN'T FUCKED UP IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE MORE TIME TO MANAGE AND ALSO NO BLACK PERSON NEEDS TO FIT IN WITH WHITE SOCIETY BY TRYING TO RELAX IT ALL THE TIME, BUT I'M NOT AGAINST RELAXERS AT ALL

  • @TheRellybachbe How much time could blacks save if they shaved their heads and just wore a wig? Doesn't it make sense? No grease or relaxing just shave and a wig. I would do it You black women could attach it Now you'd have to be careful the thing falling off. But black women look better if they get a smalller nose and wear white wigs. They can get a lot of white cock that way. I mean white wigs make blacks look better and they can even have blonde hair.

  • @tubeyou9878 I have heard some ignorant things but I must say your comments take ignorant to a new level. I hope you get the mental help that you need. I guess all white people have small noses and great hair huh? You sure do know a lot about "Negro" women Mr. White Man. Do yourself and society a favor and jump off a bridge, you're nothing but a waste of space. With your miserable ass!

  • @ShereeW1 You see I was raised racist. I've gotten blow jobs by a couple black girls and it felt damn good. One took her pants off and wanted me to eat hear pussy but I couldn't do it. I did play with her huge clit and she jumped all over the place. So I don't know the answers, but I thought I would give black women some advice. I'm just trying to help.

  • I believe the reason the blacks hair is like it is in many parts of Africa they can't even get water to bath They will just entice a cow to piss and they take a shower like that, but they don't have soap so for millions of years the blacks never washed the oils out of their hair. So they can't wash with soap. Blacks should just rinse their hair and not wash with soaps. THey would be best to keep it short. Short unrelaxed hair on a nigga winch looks like shit, but what can you do>

  • @tubeyou9878 go to hell for that bullshit you just said

  • @Citygurl27 you didn't think it was funny?

  • very good video!! I do try and explain every single day to clients that use heat on thier hair extensions everyday that seem to think hair is invincible...I explain to them that if you treated your own true hair like that you would have none left! do they listen??? NO WAY!

  • What about when your relaxing your ahir and its wet can you COMB it?

  • Ok, I really need help! I don't know what wrong with my hair they cant stop falling! My hair dry easily!...Last week I put mayonnaise on my hair, they was so soft 4 days after they was so dry i really dont know what to do! I rarely put braids I always styling with my own hair... Naturaly my hair are soft and really curly when they are wet... Please give me some tips for my hair :(

  • I LOVE YOUR video as well my hair hasnt grown in the back of my head for years and even thou i went natural it still wont what did u do exactly for such great results!!!!

  • OKAY , DONT UNDERSTAND Y THIS VIDEO HAS ANY DISLIKES

  • this is good info

  • i really do love ur video... my hair break all the time i don't really knoe wat to do??

do u have any advice at all

  • @Xcute1xJ If you use heat consider using - no heat for three months. Wear your hair in a " protective style" ends hidden, bun, braids. Just give it a break from combing.Use a mix of deep moisturising conditioners & protein conditioners to try and reduce the breakage. As I don't know the exact cause of your breakage - dryness, chemical damage, over conditioning see - Stop black hair breakage -page on website it will give you an idea of the mix of products you could use to solve these problems.

  • @blackcurl11 thank you so much, today i literally spend the day looking at ur website i saw some of the product and the methods you advise,,, from now on i will give it a try.

but just to knoe is it ok if i out on extension or do i need to leave it jst in the open??

  • im still weak at the fact that she wrote "learnt"...lol but nice vid.

  • my hair is short and relaxed what shall i do 2 help it grow and stop breaking out n try n avoid gettin split ends?

  • @MultiComment123 Hard to say without knowing how you normally treat your hair. But for most ladies when our hair is relaxed the most common hair sins are... using too much heat - flat-ironing more than once a week ( I have been very guilty of this) blow drying, not deep conditioning enough, I'd use a deep moisturising conditioning once a week and protein once a month. As for the split ends, cut them! Then try to trim 1/4 inch every 3 months. HTH check my website for more tips.

  • Wao! Your nape are just grew from massaging it every week? I'll try that. My nape is so thin. Thanks for sharing your tips. God bless!

  • its amazing how much your hair grew at the nape of your neck. I am currently transitioning. I am 11 weeks post relaxer and the nape of my neck was broke off pretty bad when i started. it is growing but it seems to be growing alot slower then other areas of my head. How often and how long did you massage the nape of your neck and what else did you do besides that to make it grow that long?

  • @patricemonet7 I protected the hair at my nape with braids. Massaged weekly for at least 5 -10mins. There are other ways to protect your nape are such as covering it with a scarf etc. Just visit my web site loads of tips on how to prevent breakage. I've put everything I've learnt there, because even if you physically protect your nape if your doing other stuff that causes hair breakage your never gonna get growth. I've leant that lesson the hard way.HTH

  • is homemade flaxseed gel good for the hair ?

  • did you wear a lot of protective hair styles as you grew out your hair?

  • @khalilahinjapan Yes! To prtect my hair at the nape I wore braids just in the nape area, then during winter I protected it with a silky headband. After that I wore my hair up 90% of the time and avoided using heat. I've got more tips on my website if you wanna look. HTH.

  • so u just massage?! you dont put anything on ur weak spots?! and thanks for the advice =D

  • yea great video, i'll definitely remember keeping it moisturized. breakage is a real problem for me, i can see it every time i straighten it. thanks so much for your help :)

  • I am currently going natrual and I am having trouble with breakage. My front of my hair was regualar lenght and now i cant put in a ponytial. it happened out oif nowhere and it is so annoying. Also my nape is not growing at all. Ive been natraul for at least 7 months. I am moisturizing and putting my hair in protective styles. This making me consider going back 2 relaxers when my hair was growing at a good rate.

  • @Mochagal07 Sounds like you have classic transitioning breakage where the new growth and relaxed hair meet. I had this, deep condition, deep condition, add oils to your conditioner, co wash & try leaving 10% of the conditioner in your hair after rinsing. Aim it to keep your new growth highly hydrated. Only detangle your hair when it’s full of conditioner-less breakage. Get use to the idea of finger combing and styling from wet/damp. Check Transitioning from relaxer page on my website. HTH

  • @Mochagal07 i had this problem too but the most important step was too learn the balance between protein !! and moisture. over moisturizing caused a lot of breakage for months but after using aphogee and learning how to look at the needs of my hair : " if wet hair stretches and KEEPS STRETCHING and then breaks it's overmoisturized but if it breaks almost immediately EVEN THOUGH YOU'VE USED DEEP CONDITIONERS FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AT REGULAR INTERVALS you lack protein wich gives the hair strenght

  • I feel for you! But after see in my `neck back' I hope you see change is possible. Do a scalp massage once a week for 10mins. It's what I did. Use a natural oil, avoid all use of heat on your hair. As the danger is you will get it growing and then not retain length because you've damaged it with heat. For an idea of the type of oils to use see the link " Promote growth - Use Scalp massage." in the side bar of my website. Also avoid putting products with mineral oil/ petrolum on your scalp.HTH

  • The best thing said in that video was about black products! My hair fell out 4 years ago after a bad perm( i had a tiny fro) and now is about 4" above my elbows. The key is washing it regularly(I will sometimes do it 2x in a week) and NOT using oils and products that are marketed to black ppl. If it has mineral oil i won't use it. Period. I use 4 steps: Wash it, Condition it, Style it, Leave it alone.

  • Inspiring!

  • Hello I'm 16 and My hair looks exactly like that picture at 0:24. only its all around my edges. Its a LITTLE fuller than the picture but with lots of bald spots. Its dry and its been this way for years. When I was little my mom put lots of braids in my hair which damaged it and it hasnt gotten better since. I'm a little desperate since college is not too far away and I sighed in relief after seeing this video. But What should I do? And Does castor oil help it grow?

  • Hi @soso694 Castor oil does help your hair to grow, there are other oils that you could you use - see the Growing with braids/Growing relaxed hair pages on my site to see what other oils are good to use. It will take about 3 months to see some results, so stick with it. The other thing that you must must do is to protect your ends whilst your hair grows. See - How to retain hair length link in side bar of the website, its way down so keep looking! Just too much stuff to go into it here .hth
