@flowster25 At some of it is in (well, above really) Chamonix in the French Alps (tucked into the borders between France, Switzerland and Italy). 3:23 is the Aiguilee du Midi.

Beautiful (and real) town, great people, brilliant food, epic terrain and unless you go to Switzerland or Italy, no heli boarding so you've got to earn every bit of backcountry you ride.

I used to live there. Still don't know why I left sometimes. I might have to head back eventually.

@flowster25 Green with envy! If you need to rent a board, go to LegendCHX or ZeroG rather than the ski rental spots. Dunno how experienced you are, but be careful. Chamonix is incredible but you can easily reach some very serious (glacier) terrain right from the lifts.

Arva, sonde, pelle (transceiver, probe, shovel for the non-francophones) are the holy trinity I'll never ride without.

Ride safe, you'll love it there... more so if you like busses driven like an extreme sport!
