  • Since when was tv debates an "american" thing? weve had tv debates in Australia since forever they're just a "thing" not an "american thing"......

  • Presenter chick is hot!!

  • the guy at the end is making sense. the comment in the text "You may notice the only people who look a bit dumb are those who aren't going to bother voting" is made with the least bit of intelligence and shows a lack of understanding and ability to empathise with those who choose to operate outside of the mainstream. It is a comment made by someone who lacks the ability to see things from different perspectives

  • @docprofessional hi dave. so, just to recap, you didnt vote then?

elections are here for us to have a say, operating outside the mainstream is pointless if you dont engage with it.

if you want to have your say, make the vote count.

  • @DesignerBaby yo mike. @DesignerBaby yo mike. whether i voted or not doesn't matter too much.

maybe the voting process is a stage show to make the people feel like they live in a democracy. When they come up with some new law are you asked if you would like to comply or are you forced to comply? nothing is pointless, as no one has yet discovered the 'meaning of life' as such.. judge people because they dont vote, put them into a box.. but all that does is put you in a box, no pun intended

  • @docprofessional You're given the choice to comply - write to your constituency and make them represent you in Parliament. It's 50/50 between the bona fide state corruption (that you suggest) and public apathy IMO. But by not voting, you're not really saying much other than you're happy for things to continue as they are...

  • @DesignerBaby by not voting im merely saying that I don't think its is important who gets into power, no policies interest me because they are all contained within a restricted realm - but that is not my point.

  • @DesignerBaby (continued) i think much more importance should be given to the small choices we make everyday (to do what we feel is right or not) i dont think getting wasted all year and then suddenly preaching on how people should vote says anything good about the process. to me its almost as rediculous as saying im stupid not to believe in jesus.. i merely think the changes we need come from people and not government, thats all - its not that bad a view honest

  • "its all bullshit" LOL agreed il vote for the one i hate the least.... non on them are great

  • Interesting! It's an import day for England today....
