Hello Combat Chuck, I talked to you before about getting a slash or not and I got one. I need your advice since I wont know what type of battery i should use. I will probably get a lipo but im not sure which one works best for this mini e-revo. Do you know if i should get anything else when i get a mini e-revo? -Thanks

@Icywolf77 Top of the line batteries for the mini e-revo/slash are made by team orion. They are hard cased. If you are on an extreme budget, I have used maxflights (zippy) packs from hobbyking. They ended up puffing on me, but thats what you get with cheap lipos.

@Icywolf77 ...also I recommend the rpm axle carriers. They are better than stock. On the stock ones, the plastic ball retainer will get loose and or break a tab eventially, putting excessive slop in your suspension. Might want to try the black/tan springs also. Use 50W shock oil. @devonmorsee Because the body is too long. It overhangs the short stock e-revo bumpers. The body would be unprotectested like that. Since this is a racer, The body needs to be protected from other vehicles, walls, etc. Thanks for asking ~Combat Chuck

@0012554 In the pics, I started out stretching Losi Mini LST ATX tires on 2.2 crawler wheels, however I didn't like the flatness of the tire. the tires would occasionally hook at the wrong time & cause a traction roll problem. I switched to Losi 2.2 rear buggy tires all around...Bar Codes. They seem to work better for me on carpet. Later, Combat Chuck

I don't know about in Germany, however, here in the states, we have a wide selection of R/C bodies to choose from. Usually purchased at a hobby shop, tower hobbies, or ebay. Check Pro-Line Racing, Parma, and HPI Racing. CEN makes some bodies that should fit also. Buying & painting the body is the easy part. The hard part, is mounting a tall body like this one and having it survive the tortures of R/C racing. Thanks, Combat Chuck
