Don't tell people who to worship or what to believe in. I, along with most every person who listens to Elvis, consider his life and music to be a religion of its own and I'm not even religious. He's helped me become a better person and because of him I am a proud musician, sound engineer, and studio owner.

But I feel like he poured out his heart in his gospel music. He could sing all kinds of music . Country, rock and etc. And others can too. But not like Elvis. He was a special person with a generous heart.
Elvis loved to sing gospel...and I believe even in his most drugged out state, the Lord had a hand on Elvis Aaron Presley my father met him in '69 and said he was just a plain, genuine man who loved to eat, sing and be with other nice people... they are probably hanging out together in Heaven right now.

One thing you can say about Elvis...he liked to eat. Of course, as he got older, he moved from burgers, pie, cake, pork chops and fried chicken to bowls of quaaludes with milk and sugar...sometimes topped with strawberries or bananas.
I always thought that if Elvis ate as much as Willie smokes, he might have been thinner. On the other hand, if Willie smoked as much as Elvis ate, he could replace the space shuttle.

To date, no one can top Elvis, for he is indeed the King, as far as music is concerned. Despite that, regardless of what people say, he was indeed a humble man, who believed in the lord. If you question that, all you have to do is listen to the passion in his voice while singing this song.

@moproducer Those things you have posted on here about Elvis being a behind-the-doors Muslim are false. That aside, I have struggles everday & I know that without Jesus Christ, I would not be able to walk in my daily life. As His children we are safe & secure for all eternity as long as we want Him, He will never let us fall utterly. Psalm 37:23-24 says “The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand."

Since God IS LOVE, and since Elvis & Michael and many others, gave us so much LOVE we can only analyze their spiritual life via this fact "By their seed you shall know them..They, like all of us have been tempted by the world, flesh & devil.Forgiveness towards ourselves & neighbors brings repentance. No one could sing this song like Elvis. He loved our Lord and you knew it as soon as he started singing. I loved his Gospel music the best. The Lord did bless that man with a beautiful voice. Never has been anyone that can sing a Gospel song like him since.

I am not trying to stir up discourse, but please, for a blessing and a greater understanding of God's word, look up the difference between love and charity. KJV says charity, all newer versions say love, literally taking the love of God out of the scriptures. God bless you.

Charity & love mean exactly the same thing. Check out the Dictionary.
I have been studying the Bible for 26+ years & am a Bible College Graduate.
God Bless! Incidentally I have always preferred the KJV however if you do an
indepth study the New American Standard Version is more accurate.

Anyone can have love. sinners love. Charity is the true love of God.There is a BIG difference. The love OF God, not to be confused with loving God, is a love instilled in your heart by God and can only be gained by devoting your heart to him. Comparing charity that the bible speaks of to love is like comparing how much you "love" a TV show and how much you love your child. Study harder, look deeper, pray for guidance.

See Elvis's love letter to her on my channel. She was a strong contender for wife & something of a nemesis to Priscilla who has Elvis dumping Anita in her movie when in reality Anita moved out of Graceland when after Priscilla's 1st 2 wk to CA & Vegas summer of 62, Anita heard Elvis trying to decide between Anita & Priscilla!!
