  • Have to hold down the "alt" button and scroll

  • He forgot to mention that you can't scroll down on the Internet if you don't have a touch screen which makes this almost useless for me on my 9700 *sigh*

  • When is come for my playbook and ny bold 9700 ? I just have updated to 2.0 and I don't have the remote option

  • I can use my android as a mouse and keyboard for my pc :)

  • is it true that it wont have an onscreen keyboard anymore? please respond!

  • @yowristband so not true...

  • So if I understand correctly, will this allow me to open audio/video files stored on my phone onto the tablet, because that's the big thing missing from BB Bridge Files right now.

Also, I hope the trackpad thing is universal, because I would love to use my phone as a touchpad to control Splashtop Streamer, which is pretty clunky when using the PlayBook's touch screen.

    This is exciting stuff!

  • for when I'm in the car... umm...

  • So if i buy Playbook now and later update to 2.0, will the new Blackberry Bridge still be supported for OS6 devices (BB Bold 9700)? I'd really like to control Playbook over my BB9700 through touchpad and keyboard.

    Wicked presentation i must say.

  • Terrific stuff. Can't wait for February.

And for all those Apple Fanboys who seem to be posting comments on Blackberry videos about how great the iPad is in comparison, can you plug your iPad into your HD TV using a standard HDMI cable or do you have to go out and give Apple another $40 to get a SPECIAL lead that lets you do it?

Get over it. The Blackberry Playbook will be streets ahead of the iPad when this 2.0 release comes out :-)

  • Woww.... 3 hands

  • People still have Blackberries

  • Yes apple didn't have this feature 1 year ago

  • Playbook sucks and always will be,thats why they went from $500 to a 300$ drop! iPads are were better

  • @Soccerboy1321 Wow, if using an iPad means I lose the ability to construct a proper sentence (let alone two) then I'll pass and stick to my Playbook. Go back to school Soccerboy and lay off the iPad for a little while. Come back and post again after you get your GED. Then maybe one day you'll learn how to use big boy words and you can play with big boy toys.

  • Awesome. I was just thinking about this ability today with an issue at work.

  • WOW...thats impressive

  • wonderful!

  • I have 2 PlayBooks and 2 Bold 9900's. Can't WAIT for this update! PlayBook OS 2.0 + Bold OS 7.1 = Welcome to the party @BlackBerry!

  • I'm in love. Opening the link on the PB from the BB is a little like the NFC tap option that HP Touchpad had with their smartphones. Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

  • bullshit, I can do this with my iPhone.. I just use my iBridge that connects me to my iPad... Apple was the first one to do this... stop copying Apple!!!!

    /s

  • @morpho4444 stop being an Apple fan boy...that's the basis of advancement...adding on to existing technology...you noob

  • @Faltzerbeast90 stop .. just stop.. buy Internet Language for dummies on Amazon please... (notice the /s at the end, that means sarcasm. There is no iBridge on iPhone for iPad)

  • That's pretty badass.

However, the cursor seemed a little slow...

  • come on put this out now

  • LOVE THE PRICE. ... NOW LOVE THE FUNCTIONS MORE. COOL!

  • ...this is one hell of an 'update' ..I have two PlayBooks ready and waiting :)...my laptop is really getting nervous..lol

  • OMG EPICCCCCC

  • Need it now!

  • I'm excited about my PlayBook all over again.

  • very cool
