  • LOL them towers aint there no more!

  • @ 2:10 whats that at the botam right of the screen

  • @coldwarmth5000 Looks like a particle effect (like a leaf) floating around. They don't have collision maps, so they just go through the building.

  • Not just because of Ice, I mean like your older videos too

  • Are you lagging? It looks like you are. Or it is just the mods or something :P

  • @gab1971 Running with the mods on high settings to show them off drops the framerate by quite a bit compared to the stock version of the game. I go from highest settings at 1920x1080 running at 60fps, down to around 30-40FPS with the mods. Fraps cuts that in half almost, so in the video I'm only running around 20-25FPS. I mention in the video how much video memory it consumes and that is why I am lagging slightly.

  • @Fraxial Ohh, I see, Love your videos!

  • @Fraxial how much memory do you have?

  • @BapeGangsta 8GB, check the website in the description we have our specs on there.

  • @BapeGangsta I'm running with 8GB of RAM. For more on my specs, head over to our website located in the description. My rig is listed at the top, under PhReaK.

  • @Fraxial i see that you are using AMD Phenom II X6 1090. should i buy it or go for i5 2500k? Do you think your cpu will be able to gta 5 in max setting when it comes out in december?

I bought an am3+ motherboard before bulldozer came out and now i regret buying it because of poor bulldozer benchmark. :( my friends have been saying that i5 2500k is way better but i do not have moeny to spend another 100 dollars on an intel motherboard.

  • @Hurtix For GTA V our CPU/GPU should be fine. In terms of which is better, it's a tough choice.

In my build (1055t, GTX470) I only had the i7 920 to choose from which was much more expensive for less performance. When I built Nick's system (1090t, GTX570) the i5 2500k was still new and a bit pricy at the time. Going AMD saved enough to get the 570 instead of a 560 and the CPU performance was comparable for what we do.

If spending 100$ on a (crappy) mobo is too much, stick AMD.

  • @Hurtix BTW just to add, no hate on Intel from us. If you want an i5 system, you should be looking at a 200$ board to start with.

As far as bulldozer goes, it's kinda special and Windows 8 should help with it's updated scheduler. However it is rumoured that Bulldozer II should be out this year too and it should be much faster too, so I'm interested in seeing that come out.

For now my personal recommendation for a new system would be the i5 2500K since it has dropped in price.

  • 6 cores? Nothing special? Are you ill? xD

  • @KRISSYKARMA Nope, they are cheaper than the i5 2500k. Heck you can get the new 8 core FX ones for the same price. Now if you want something special it would need to be either a 2x6-Core Xeon setup or a 4x16-Core Optron server ;)

  • @Fraxial Well I'm only running a duel core at 3.00GHz each, but it's enough to play GTA IV at 1024x768 (My native resolution) at 18 FPS and I can play 800x600 at 30fps, but I'm going to upgrade, I was on a tight budget when I built it so I had to go cheap on the processor. But as for other games, it plays them all on highest settings at 40FPS, sso it's not that bad. It's just GTA IV was a bad port from the 360.

  • @KRISSYKARMA Except the issue is actually your GPU at that point. Unless your CPU is a bottleneck, it's almost always down to GPU if your game performance isn't very good.

  • @Fraxial Yea, but my problem is with my CPU, only having 2 cores, so I'm gunna upgrade it to 6 cores:P But the poor performance with GTA IV is to do with the porting from the Xbox. It's in the official Rockstar Games forums.

  • 1:36 "BOOM HEAD SHOT"

  • i m watchin this video on 240p problem ?

  • Lol Hancock

  • Pretty sure superman doesn't fly around headbutting buildings :>

You should do a video of what cars you have, they look pretty sick!

  • can you post a full video?

  • a tip incase you missunderstood the icenhancer is just a config enb series is what it's running on which is what includes all these amazing features like better reflection etc it's all enb series

just thought i'd let you know

  • real dumb

  • @TimezOutNerd Thanks for the insightful comment.

  • LOLOLOLOLOL

did anyone notice the stupid guy in the background running into the flowerbed?

  • @Tusharness Yea lol, the AI pathing isn't the greatest.

  • Oh and btw, what patch are you running? 1.0.04? Hopefully?

  • @Callmedeagle It's all in the description.

  • Full list please? :D and more of these videos please? Love em

  • What an NT.

  • @fraxial is there anyway to make gta 4 run smoother on a 128mb quadro fx1400, without the mods?

  • @randomenigma59 That's an old workstation card dude... If it's lagging on minimum settings, it's time to buy a new card.

  • @Fraxial its not as much framerate lag, its more of a bullettime effect

  • @randomenigma59 Still sounds like your system isn't powerful enough to run the game...

  • @Fraxial i can play it on lowest settings and i dont know if the bugs i get are related, stuff like the phone not responding

  • @randomenigma59 Isn't there a benchmark tool in the options you could test? I would suggest looking up or even asking in some of the big GTA forums out there if they have any idea what the problem could be.

  • Post the whole thing :D

  • @kidrawification The whole what ??

  • @Fraxial In the video you said that you could post the whole video of the mods if we wanted. So can you upload it? :D

  • @kidrawification We would have to make it first.

  • @Fraxial Ok :)

  • A tip to fix the bad handling of the bikes in the hd car pack:

back up the original handling.dat file before you install the pack. Open the original handling.dat file using notepad and scroll down till you find the section called bikes. Copy everything in the bike section, and replace the bike section in the new handling.dat file. After that, the bikes will behave like normal. Took me a while to figure out :D

  • COOL!! Keep the nice stuffs man!!

  • @REDX16385 Thanks!!

  • y u no use episodes from liberty city?

  • @MrUnderstandinglife Because we don't own it?

  • @Fraxial thats unfortunate :)

  • Nice man! The only thing I think could make this any better would be an infamous mod!!

  • @MrBalzonya I'll consider that. I'm in the process of making a tutorial on installing Skyrim mods, so I guess it couldn't hurt to do the same for GTA. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • what did you replace the evo with?

  • Thanks for sharing this. It looks really nice, indeed.

  • @GustavoMsTrashCan Thanks, we appreciate the feedback!

  • is it easy to drive with fp or does it suck balls unless you plugin an xbox360 controller

  • @fatcatscanroar It depends what you are used to using. I find it fine.

  • how you do that?

  • @JoshNicholsTV2 Do what? All the info is in the description.

  • A GT-R? More like a GTA-R :D

  • how have u not got more subs, i subbed :) check me channel out :)

  • Show more cars

  • @Iluvfsx We made a video for another car pack, we could always make one for this new pack.

  • @Fraxial Another good video, but the graphics are alittle off.Try this new EMB i just posted on gta4mods.com.Its called "The Real Liberty City (1.0.7.0 EMB)".

  • Show more car

  • whats better this mod or the first realistic mod you put up

  • @mrstraightedgesavior This one has newer versions of certain mods and overall it seems better. The other video would occasionally crash, this one is much more stable.

  • What are your specs? Also what patch are you running? I'm curious about running ICEnhancer on my EVGA GTS 450 1GB but i heard something about overheating on patch 1.0.7.0 which i use.... but anyway, very good video.. Very Unique! GTA4 Commentary. I Like it.

  • @hellya2011 I'm pretty sure most of that is answered in the video (and website). Check the link in the description and you can also see our full PC specs on the profile pages of our website.

As for the overheating, you have an EVGA card so just grab EVGA Precision from their website. You should be able to control fan speeds and monitor the temperature with it.

Also thanks for the feedback ! We really appreciate it :D

  • @hellya2011 Yeah, I'm curious to know your computer specs too. PC or laptop? I have a MacBook Pro Coming that I will try and run the game on. My laptop with quad core 2.2mHz, 512Mb Vid Ram, 4Gb Mem isn't fast enough to handle the basic settings of GTA. Let alone HD version.

  • @akilla214u2c Yea specs are in the description, just go to the site and check out our profiles to see them.

  • Does this work on a Mac?

  • @GlimFliker GTA IV will not run on Mac OSX. You can, however, dual-boot a copy of Windows on a Mac and play it that way. The quality of your hardware is another topic altogether.

  • @Fraxial Ok, thanks!

  • Very nice video men :D , i don't have such a good computer for games but ,i still like watching your vids xD.

  • @Javieromartm Thanks!! We appreciate it :)

  • lol look at the guy walking into the wall

  • Nice I wish I had a gaming PC :( lol

  • You deserve SO many more views-You're just great!

  • @tsimmer777 Appreciate it! Thanks!

  • @Fraxial can my radeon hd6770 run this game on these mods without crashing

  • @TheHarRAR It should have no issues running the game with these mods at pretty high settings. Whether it crashes or not is another story. Try it and see, but be sure to backup your game before installing any mods. It sucks to re-install it every time something goes wrong.

  • nice how are you liking the wtc mod

  • @VidsEXtreme It's a nice addition to the game. Could use a little sprucing up indoors though, since there's not much to show for it.
