@NationChosenByGod One of the biggest reason it was not chosen, besides technical issues like that pop-stall in the clip, the F-22 had already won it's "competition" and the F-35 shared a number of similar systems from a common pool of compaines. Mainly LockMart. Then there's the stuff we wont know about for years to come.
Not only is this plane ugly, but it performs like junk compared to the lockheed martin X-35 - the aircraft that it lost to for the contract with the U.S. air force. The problem therein lies in the X-32's ability to take off and land with hot exhaust cutting power to the thrust near touch down.
Your a moron since this is a documentry of the JSF competition to replace the Harrier. The Harrier had limited range, payload, and high infrared vulnerability.
You don't know what you're talking about obiviously. Harrier is hella slow for a jet plane. These things CAN actually fly with real jet speed. All the while capable of VTOL.
judging from the design of the x-32, it's more manoevurable and stealthier, but it wasn't not chosen for some reason.

@NationChosenByGod
Its because the F35 carrys more. Its a bad choice. The X-32 more likely to survive a dogfight.

the exhaust rebreathing problems inherent to all jet engines.
so it always a good thing to never get directly behind another jet's exhaust

Look people, the Harrier is a great iconic plane, especially for us British, but this plane superseeds it, with speed, agility and armor!
Also its replacing the F-16s mainly.
