I have only had the chance to see the Tamlins perform once & that was 89 dec. when Freddy McGregor kept a stage show with singers only. the best experience I've ever had in my life. seen: dennis brown, gregory issacs, coco tea, freddy mcgregor, junior ried, & I think maxi priest performing together on stage. WOW!!!!
This was a former no 1 on the Tony Williams reggae rockers show and an absolute classic. However, the follow up to this track which should also have been a massive hit as well was called "Hold on" and this track was also The Tamlins at their very best. Roddy did a round of up the year as it was then and I remember him saying they released a version of a studio on hit baby love and it went clear.70d and most importantly the 80s was just the boom. I still have both versions and they are great.
Yeah yeah nex big tune from back in the day! Superb harmonies! Listen to the change in the track when they go ahhh! wow!. Your right, they definitely did not get the recognition they deserved then, but maybe in the forward.....
