I have to say this is so reminiscent of his work with Wings.... Heard it today for the first time.Wow,how did I ever bail on Paul.It was the Ebony and Ivory tune that made me think ......Sorry Paul..I'll never doubt ya again.
He is the founder of the modern song. Really listen to the harmonies, the rythym and the general flavour of Pauls songs and you'll realise he was the crux of the beatles sound and the sound of 1000000 songs predecessing it . . .. .maybe in 1000 years we will realise what this man has done for humanity and the true impact it has had on our species and culture full stop.
even when paul is just strumming his style is great........and the tone of the guitar is superb.......all of the most talented musiians can take the simplest chords and make a song sound beautiful.....Harrison and lennon were like that too. You could just put them in a studio, a touch of reverb and nothing else and they sounded wonderful
@MrKenneth0909 just curious.....what harry nilson song do you think this was "borrowed" from. Harry Nilson was actually a friend of the beatles and spent considerable time with John Lennon at one point....drinking buddies
There are stupid people who say that Paul DIED and was replaced with someone that looked just like him in 1966 ........ I ask these people... how a double can come up with music like this?????
@juanchov182 its obvious to everyone but a moron like urself, they did a brain transplant, honestly it amazes me some people can be so stupid and cant work these things for themselves, in 66 the beatles were the only people rich enuff to afford such a thing, the medical team waylaid a newcastlel fan on his way to a match and stuck macca's brain into his empty head and the rest is history , one minor drawback is he now uses nookie brown ale to die his grey hair,
@juanchov182 lol was just messing, it just amazes me that anyone can believe such nonsense and lets face it u wud need to b able to swallow that crap I posted if u accepted the fake paul story, long may he continue to produce his beautiful music,
this would mean that the pre-66 paul was the one with whom a double would have to compete, but the pre-66-paul didn't write the really great mccartney-stuff.
so the double could have been the actual great songwriter and produce stuff like that.
i conclude: your argument is nonsense, just as the whole paul-is-dead stuff is.
@juanchov182 the only people who think that Paul is dead are like 15 year olds ( or people who were not even alive when the beatles hit it big in 1964) they discover it on the net and get all excited and think they have uncovered some big conspiracy..........thats such an embarassing loser thing to persue...."the paul is dead" thing. It makes people look like a retard
@juanchov182 Plus, there's the fact that there were so many great songs AFTER that whole incident, like Let it Be, When I'm 64, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Dah, Hello Goodbye, and do on. What I am saying is that even if he HAD died, which he didn't, all of those songs were made after the fact.
No assumption, you are stupid but at least you have insight to that. This exactly what life is about. The sweet and sour. All we deal with except rock head Charlie Brown's like you. He says don't blow it. But you have child Ed
ok no one jump down my throat...I think this is maybe one of Paul's best..beatles and everything...I just think it is very appealing in a way that a lot of beatles songs arent...Those songs were such a product of their time (they are good, dont get me wrong)...This song would be cool then or now...
dynamicribbondevice--i can only guess how much fluff is beating in your head,i say your bumper sticker says Beer: It's not just for breakfast anymore.
I don't know who did this but it is really great. If you really like PM and the Beatles, go out to Vegas to the MIRAGE HOTEL and see LOVE. It will blow your hair back.
OMG I was watching this movie today and I had no idea he did this song. I mean, it's great, but during the credits my mom was like "This is Paul singing." And I didn't believe her- I mean, it sounded like him, but I didn't think it was- and then I saw it on the internet later. I can't believe I couldn't tell- he's my alltime hero!!!
i drive around town at night with song on, just listening to it and just driving clearing my mind. ill always remember this song after a special date and how the world seemed to be fine for once.....great song.
I'm very oblivious- know why? Because I can't get it through my head that J. Paul McCartney was able to have a horrific accident under the radar, no one found out, and then the Beatles found someone with the same voice and face and a similar songwriting talent and then left CLUES for the fans in albums, such as Lennon bragging "I buried Paul" or the "Haha Paul is Dead Haha Paul is Dead" At the end of I am the Walrus.
Of course they didn't! With all of the Beatles money and resources, they found someone that was SO obviously different from the real Macca that they used it to promote their clues that he was dead.
And the Beatles couldn't have realized that whenever someone of importance dies, the person's record sales go through the roof. (A bit sick, but it's true)
Don't usually like Paul McCartney but after watching Vanilla Sky the other night, I think this song is starting to change my opinions.

the film is just as good, for one moment when I was watching it, I actually forgot about my fear of death! Anyway I'm gonna carry on listening to this song.
