  • Maybe you could re-review this guy, in better quality, on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses. as well as, if you own them, maybe the rest of the set. I would love to see you redo many of your old low quality reviews on that site, as you did with Omega Spreem and Batman.

  • **You can't script this stuff.

  • What a way to end a review... Plop on the table. You can script this stuff.

  • I'm Going to buy the black and white box set (:

  • 15 neck joints... i would love to see a toy that acctually had 15 different neck joints

  • the spiked hands are for climbing

  • Neca NEED TO MAKE figures ON TMNT 1ST MOVE THE BEST ONE EVER

  • i don't like that they have so lonk necks, but beside that, they look awesome

  • Your reviews have come so far, you should be proud. :D

  • Holy crap, I didn't know you reviewed this until I was just reading the TFW Neca Turtle thread after buying mine. :D

  • the box set of all 4 comes without sceneries, without the replacement hands, without the baby turtles, without the fire hydrant and ooze cannister etc..

  • well that sucks :(

  • Ya, but they're much easier to find than the ones that come with all the accessories. The most common ones are individual sets that come in tubes, but those also don't have all the extra accessories.

  • is leanardo not the blue bandana'd one

  • original turtles were super violent and even more bad ass than now (yes it is possible). They changed the colors for the cartoons and so kids could easily identify them.

  • oh yeah, and raph was the leader. not leo. the made leo the leader because of the swords...more appealing to kiddos.

  • Actually, Leonardo was ALWAYS the leader. It's just that they all wore the same color bandanna in the comics (dark red). It should be noted that what they wore in the comics is specifically dark red, which is still different from the medium red that Raphael wears in the cartoons.

  • not in the comics.

  • In the comics, all four turtles wear dark red bandannas. They changed it for the cartoon so that little kids could tell them apart.

  • You're "usin' a Gorillapod". Are they worth it?

Anywho, I can't see a whole lot of this figure. How much is he?

  • hey i just picked this guy up for 13 bucks a great buy!

  • Love TMNT! I just got Mike and boy are these figures posable like you said, just amazing. Got his nunchucks to do the over the shoulder and under the arm pose. I also adore the slightly bumpy, reptilian-like texture on this guy, especially the head. Didn't have much of a problem with paint aps, a little too much white around his left eye onto the bandana, but stuff like that doesn't really bother me. This toy really just looks like he walked off the cover of a Mirage comic. Highly recomended.

  • It sounds like they shove the stuff in the packaging still wet. Your eye comment is nonsense sir. He is quite obviously suffering from the twitchy eye syndrome that accompanies a homicidal rage. The red streaks on his head is either A: the blood of his enemies or b:red dye from the bandanna. Chopping through criminal scum works up a mighty sweat.

  • I saw a Custom NECA Slash on e-bay for $40.

  • Thanks alot dude awesome vid oh thanks for the color tip

  • can you tell me were you got that figure in stores i mean i have seen them available online but im worryed about the pait job like you said. are they at target wallmart toys r us because i have been looking for those figures for 2 months!!!!! please please reply were you found it!!!!!please reply!!!!!! send me a message. any way great review!!!

  • I found it at 401toys in Toronto.

  • mostly at comic shops dude its pretty random um by it off line the really flexible and easy to have but basically buy it off line if you want one at all there are people that go cross country for one of these baby's good luck THERE FUCKING AWESOME

  • how much are these things?

  • I think they're typically around 15 bucks, give or take a couple bucks depending on the shop.

  • sweet

  • I've been all up in these since the first prototype pics. I'm thinking of going after the 4 pack on eBay - or I was until your warnings of paint apps, so I don't know what the shiet I'm gonna do. No local comic store I know of sells any new toys, so...reh....REHHHH

  • The 4-pack's GOTTA have better QC if it's a convention thing (he says naively). And maybe I got a really notable isolated case, hehe.

I'd say take the risk if you can't get em locally, the worst you'll get are some amusing mis-strokes to tell your grandkids about.

  • Appropriate seeing as grandkids will surely be the product of amusing mis-strokes in themselves. I totally meant to pull out... but then 9 months later, out popped their god damn parents, ruining my fucking life.

I think there's two 4 packs, the convention super shit ass one, and a more standardy one?

  • Damn it...this kind of stuff requiring me to "research" is exactly what The Subtitles are always on about...  ;_;

  • Bah. I think all of us leave something or another out of the reviews, some juicy little factoid. Don't sweat it. Hell, I may be wrong

  • I agree, this was good times in Turtle's history - lots of killing, blood and whatnot. I still have those old comics - I wonder where they are?

    Awesome review! ^_^

  • Thank you! :D

    But you're vioooolent. ;_;

  • This should not be a surprise to you. >:)!

  • man that painting errors suck, i find the necks look a lil long and creepy lik some kinda weird turtle-gariff cross breed.

You gonna be filmin botcon for all us sad people not able to go?

  • I will be filming at Botcon, but I dunno if I'll have footage up during the convention or some time after it. ^_^;

  • i can image you holding it back and laughin all evil n stuff

  • Aw, man, I've been dying to pick these guys up, but have been stuck on whether or not to get the B&W versions.

Ah, TGRI. Or is it TCRI? Depends on which you grew up with (or which you liked more).

  • I forgot about the acronynmial variant! :o

Yeah the B&W versions look cool too, in my case it was mostly "I saw these ones first". ;)

  • Turtles is the business! But if that turtle was a ghost he'd be righteously busted! Let me tell you.

  • You can't bust no ninja turtle

Didn't you hear the song from Vanilla Ice?!

    Go ninja!

  • Man that is awesome, where did you find him. Review was great as usual & hope you enjoy Botcon.

  • I found this one at Silver Snail, but I've seen them at various comic shops in Toronto.

  • You're reviews rule. Hilarious stuff. Though sometimes I have to pause to catch the text messages. :} Sorry about your paint aps. My Ralph has extra white around his mouth like he did a milk ad, so I'm looking to exchange him hopefully if I see these at Hot Topic or Sun coast.

  • Thanks! I've been speaking to The Subtitles about speedy appearances, but I keep getting told some jive about "artistic license" or some crap like that. :/

    Eesh, milklips!

  • looks great, love your reviews. i have read a few comics and books

  • Sometime I want to get all caught up on the original storyline, I heard it also got continued a few years ago by Dark Horse.

  • What i like is that they did kill people
