I'm looking for something like this but as a hardware device. Can anyone suggest what unit comes close to this unit?

@xpt803 The best emulator of it in hardware is the xoxbox and that is really really good, I mean many people who have both say that it is great. You could find it before on Ebay UK I think for 500 euro or so. Just search for Xoxbox and maybe add 303, the one I saw was a black one. Also search for some demos on youtube to get a feel for it, there are some on here I have seen before.

Could anybody tell me what´s the name of the hardware that it is using in the video to modificate the resolution, cutoff, etc? I suppose that is a MIDI keyboard or similar, but i´m looking for a comercial name. Thanks!

@ahop89: ReBirth is a ReWire Client. simply put, if your Host supports ReWire, there' no Reason (heh) why not. Hosts include: Acid Pro, FL Studio, Ableton, Sonar, Reason 4, just to name a few. some of those hosts plug into eash other as well.

Does anybody know, can you export patterns as wavs from Rebirth? You know, make a pattern, export it and import in other daw like Reaper, for example, for mixing etc. I tried a long time ago and just could not make it work. Thanks.

Though I'm not particularly familiar with ReBirth, I believe it can operate as a slave (ReWire?), allowing you to control it and channel audio directly into another DAW acting as a host/master. That might save you a lot of manual importing/exporting :-)

Tried to try Rebirth out but it keeps asking for a CD :s Donwloaded it from the site and installed it correctly. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Yes Qrolixx the CD must be in the drive each time you want to run the program (they did this as a security measure)

just download daemon tools and download the iso file. in other words, trick the computer into thinking the CD is in the drive.
