why didnt you just put the screw driver in the hole next to disc drive blue screw and manually eject the disc? no need to take machine apart

i got to the part where u had to take out the little pins and i was like wtf cuz i couldnt get them out then i noticed a penny jus fell out of my ps3 and i saw the comments on here about change in the ps3 so i press the eject button and now it works thanks

Got all the way to the main screws coming off then when it hit the T1000 i had no ends?? turns out all i had to do was flip the ps3 upside down plug it in and eject lol my little monster stuffed mickey mouse clubhouse and neverland pirates in there lmao

@DARKZERO216psn Don't ever do that! Yea it may keep it cooler but you will also be collecting so much dirt, dust, lint and airborne chemicals which will harm the internal components of your Ps3! If it was a good thing then SONY would have done something about it. Their is a cover for a reason. I would suggest getting an extra intercooler if you must.

My nephew shoved an emery board and a guitar pick into my ps3. Thanks to this video, I was able to get it out. And thankfully, the ps3 still works like it's supposed to. Amazing video.

Dax i got my cd out but now i put all my ps3 and when i put cd in it doesnt automatically takes the cd in i have to push it all the way in and im afraid its gettin stuck again can u tell me wat to do

but there is an access point that you put in a small phillips screwdiver and turn it anti- clockwise for the disc to come out.

its located underneath the ps3, underneath the rectangle piece of plastic(,you must detach the plastic off the body and insert the screwdriver in the hole left.)

Well of course they wont make an access point for that....because thats where they make their money...shit breaks you buy a new one....or pay to have someone repair it for you....its bullshit :/
