Actually it's sad to see how many rides were later torn down. Kings Island is the sister park to Kings Dominion, near Richmond, Va. They opened around the same time. The two parks were duplicates of each other. Many of the rides at Kings Dominion also have been torn down.

I always wondered if the other people were extra actors or regular paying customers and if they knew the brady bunch was there and if they got annoyed with all the recording and what really went on there. When they were running to get the canister to the managers office I know one of them ran into some customer.

That was too cool, I've been there tons of times. I was born in 1989 so when I visited it had ofcourse expanded and there were newer rides. I've been on the Log Flume plenty of times, I miss the old haunted house :( They changed it to a Scooby Doo ride, and now that they're not affiliated with Paramount, it is something else. Wish we had taken more pics, I hope they never close.

I have the original tube that Marcia and Jan were trying to find. I bought it on Ebay for 950 dollars. It was a steal because both Marcia and Jan's fingerprints are probably still on it to this day.

@Paneeks1960 that is hysically impossible because any prop from the Kings Island episode was not returned because of disputes over money and also the fact that even though the park was run by Paramount the hotel tabs were never paid...this was just another classic example of Schwartz being a cheapskate dipshit as he was throughout the entire filiming of the series. The guy was so tight when he carcked his knuckles glue came out of his fingers.

I really would never pay 950.00 for anyone's autograph because it is just a signature. I do believe those were just empty tubes. I am sorry if I led anyone to believe otherwise. you know only 4 of those rides are still there. Racer, Monster, Dodgems, and log flume. My favorite American Eagles shown at 3:12 was torn out along with the old fashioned cars to make room for the italian job.

I'm surprised that when they mentioned the canoe ride was closed that they didn't say the beast was going in. I live 5 Minutes from KI but it's a very famous coaster.

They closed to canoe ride because a patron was electrocuted in the lake by shorted underwater light fixture.

As a theme park employee, I really hope that Kings Island doesn't allow guests to walk up along side cars like that (and that this was done for the purpose of the show). Otherwise, they're just begging for trouble.
