@Girl4God2 It would be hard work. The removal of grains is one of the key components of a paleo diet, this alone would be a major step in the right direction for most peoples health. I think that a vegetarian would have to cheat on a paleo diet by incorporating dairy products. Whey protein is an extract from dairy, and an excellent source of easily digested protein.
@Girl4God2 Robb Wolf discusses vegetarians on his podcast and briefly in his book the paleo solution. Basically its a lot harder if ur vegetarian but depending how lenient you are on eggs/dairy it may be a bit easier (some eat fish also but I'm guessing most vegetarians don't want to do that). Anyway, I suggest you search around on the subject, a couple of great sources to get you started are robb wolfs site, mark sissions site (marks daily apple)

@BlackVoicesOnFilm Its true they would have been opportunistic, however large scale grain consumption only started around 10000 years ago, not enough time for genetic adaptation to these foods. Having said that, if grains are soaked, sprouted or fermented many if not all of the harmful components are deactivated. I think the paleo diet is a health dietary foundation to follow, where grains can be added in a limited quantity, but are best consumed as described.
So...For a vegetarian like me, a diet like this would not work? Can it be possible for a vegetarian to go on it, without eating the meat?
