A hand gesture recognition system for replacing a mouse

Sorry guys for not getting back to you earlier. I just forgot checking this page. Anyway, here is a little explanation about this project. I have used dark background and a dark shirt so that my hand is easily distinguishable. Then I used PCA to model different hand shapes and a state machine to recognise the movements. It was just a simple project I developed with the stuff I had learned in my first year of research at DCU. I don't think I have a copy of the source code with me.

Plz, this is FAKE AS an Osama bin Ladin treat, it's obvious as daylight that you have co ordinated the movement from you USAGE of the MOUSE with your RIGHT hand with you LEFT. Black curtains, smoke and mirrors and not that good.

2. Your last sentence is one of the most awkward pieces of literature I have ever read, clearly a failed attempt to appear intelligent through excessive use of uncommon vocabulary.

His right hand is resting on the very bottom of the keyboard, he has no way of controlling the mouse that way with his right hand. Hes going slow so the program doesn't loose track of his hand.

Haha, lol, there is a program called VisualMouse, though not as good as this, VisualMouse uses head gestures.

It's not a commercial software. It's a gesture recognition research project.
