  • Thank you Mike, that was helpful. It puts order over your musical ideas (sometimes you strumm the ukulele really fast, but in an untidy, not clear way). Keep posting things!

  • Hey Mike your Uke is really nice. An Oscar Schmidt I believe? Have you tried the cheaper laminate Oscar Schmidt ukes? My better half is getting me an OU2E which is on its way. Should I prepare for joy or disappointment?

  • Its funny you mentioned sometimes go back and redo something so you dont forget it cause when i'm learning a new song i always go back in the middle of it and make sure i didnt forget the other one lol... Currently learning Somewhere over the rainbow

  • I wish you were my grandfather! xD

  • @musicteacher2010 I use my index nail down and my thumb nail up? Is that ok

  • @douglasdc3and8 thats a common way that its taught in many tutorials, i tried it at first, but this feels more comfortable for me, both work just as well :)

  • Doesn't the word 'shuffle' imply a swing feel? I wouldn't refer to the straight pattern as a shuffle. With all do respect.
