When you take turns at a more gradual pace, high g-forces can be prevented which can be dangerous. Don't believe me? Just google "Intimidator 305 blackouts." Good vid tho.

If you ride Millennium Force in the very BACK car, the airtime will be stronger. It still won't be as strong as some other rides, but it will be strong enough to keep you out of your seat.
yeah i figured it might be like that. although i was just so excited to finally get on this ride that i just hopped on where ever. i think it was 2nd or 3rd from the front. although airtime usually is stronger towards the back, im such a front person. my first pick is always the front and if the lines too long ill just go 2nd, but never think about the back. oh well, front row on MF still kicks ass. that first drop blew the shit out of me (not literally, but you get the point)
When I went to CP last October, I rode TTD 10 times -- 2 times in the front and 8 times in the back. I noticed that even though TTD's trains are short, riding in the back made the difference between always being lifted out of your seat and not being lifted out of your seat at all. Because MF's trains are far longer than TTD's, it would make an even larger difference there.
I also think that roller coasters are far better both in intensity and in view if you look to the side, NOT straight.

I have always wished that they would convert the train to a 4 seater so that the 2 cars on each edge would dangle in the air as you went through the ride.

depends. im 13 and the last day of school, me and my friend left early and went there from 1-7:30 and it was DEAD. i got on dragster 3 times millenium 3 times maverick gemini magnum all once. depends on the day you go. halloweekends is always packed. if you go in the summer in during the week its about 1-2 hour wait.
I live right down the street from Cedar Point, seeing it all covered in snow makes me anxious for May 16th! If you are looking for a day to go where there are like no people in the park, go on Sundays in the fall. Maverick line = 1/2 hour. Millennium Force = 15 min to a 1/2 hour. Top Thrill Dragster = 10 min. I hope I helped ;)
Um sorry pretty crowded. Maverick - 2 to 3 hrs, Millennium - 1.5 to 2.5 hrs, Dragster - 1 to 2.5 hrs. I hope i helped again. If you can stay at the hotel and you get in an hour earlyer before the general public and you can get on Maverick- 15 min, Millennium - 15min, Dragster - 15 min. but thats if you go to them first, if you got to them second it could be like 30 min, then a half hour. I hope I helped!
Um, usually a pretty normal summer day. Maverick - 1 hr 45 min to 2 hrs 45 min, Millennium - 1 hr 30 min to 2 hrs 30 min, Dragster - 1 hr to 2 hrs. Like I said before, it's best to stay at the hotel. It's also helpful if you aim for a day with a chance for rain. Less people will go, and if it happens to drizzle they still sometimes run the rides. I hope I helped!
But sometimes it's very unpredictable, once on a September Saturday at 5 o'clock I got in line for Maverick at Skyhawk. The line was 6 hrs long. Of course I waited for it because im a Maverick freak haha.
8 years later and its still the king. nothing beats that first drop in the backseat especially at night!! totally kicks the dragsters 17 sec long rides ass!
I love this ride, the first drop is one of the best parts, you feel 4.5 G's at the bottom. The hill's give you lots of floating, and air time. Nice video!!

And it got louder and louder, and i was like, no way! Then Millennium force's train went right by us!!!!!!! DAMN THAT THING IS FAST!!!! then when we were leaving, and we were right there where the train went by, and there goes the screaming again. I was like, holy shit, NO FRIGGEN WAY!!! And then the train went by, Millie said bye 2 me!
Fun fact: Cedar point is for sale rite now for enough money anybody can buy it cedar fair plans to put its money into kings island on account of the larger amount of room

Much more room than you think, people were spreading rumors before magnum xl-200 was built about the park being out of room. They have TONS of room to expand. I got lucky enough to be 1 of 6 people on the last train of the night the last time I was there. The park was dark and quiet by the time I got on so it was almost pitch dark. I am almost positive that thing was going faster than 93 mph due to almost no one being on the train.. that was a kick ass way to end the night.
the reason it feels like its going faster is becasue it is, but only 1 to 3 mph more, its not becasue of the lack of people its the track cooling down and allowing the wheels to just cruise with less friction. go during halloweekends and ride it late at night front row, the experience of a life time right there
Last year we rode it at night during Halloweekends. As we were going down the first hill, I saw we were diving into a dry ice fog, the rest of the ride was engulfed in it, you couldn't see anything through the whole ride. It was wicked. =D
1. It isn't physically possible for it to move faster with LESS weight in it, unless it is having mechanical problems.
2. Roller coasters go faster once they have warmed up. Cold runs in the morning are almost always slower, and in the case of rides like Dragster, the probability of a morning roll back vs a mid-day roll back is much higher
you are correct, but what i was saying is at night, after all the trains bearings and moving parts have been warming up all day it plays a big factor at night...believe it or not just like wooden coasters the weather and temperature affects the steel coasters too, not nearly as much but it does. so when it does cool down its simple science to know that the molecules will huddle together causing the steel to shrink very little but that little bit does affect the ride experience
I know it's all a matter of opinion, but.. why are people watching this if they don't even like MF?.. I say if you don't like it, don't ride it.. that's less time I have to wait in line =)
i think the ride is EXCELENT but as some people said it has no airtime hills and no great g forces, so this could not be my fav one. I'd love to ride it though.
I find the ride boring after the first drop. Forceless over bank turns and drawn out hills with little to no airtime, is not my type of ride. And the long waits don't help either.
Nope. Millenium Force may be big, but aside from the first drop, it doesn't really do that much other than hold it's speed. And the asshole operators don't help. Anyways, Good Video Cody.

8 years later and its still the king. nothing beats that first drop in the backseat especially at night!! totally kicks the dragsters 17 sec long rides ass!

I love this ride, the first drop is one of the best parts, you feel 4.5 G's at the bottom. The hill's give you lots of floating, and air time. Nice video!!

ive been on this 3 times and once was a 11:30 at night on the 2nd to last train of the night! it was awesome that time you couldnt see a thing and it felt like i was flying

On the way to the hotels, where you drive right next to millennium force's first hill, we were smodt to the bottom part of the hill, and we heard some screaming. And it got louder and louder, and i was like, no way! Then Millennium force's train went right by us!!!!!!! DAMN THAT THING IS FAST!!!! then when we were leaving, and we were right there where the train went by, and there goes the screaming again. I was like, holy shit, NO FRIGGEN WAY!!! And then the train went by, Millie said bye 2 me!

bull shit they're gunna sell cedar point! Don't make up or spread rumors. Cedar Point is Cedar Fair headquarters, and it has far more room than kings island. Much more room than you think, people were spreading rumors before magnum xl-200 was built about the park being out of room. They have TONS of room to expand. Plus they own tons of the lake, they can always build on to that. MORON, STOP MAKIN/ SPREADING RUMORS. and you can't beleive what you hear online, not even screamscape, its all rumors

really i love meaverick but its just a shorter thrill i mean that 1 minutes feals like 10 seconds on millennium it has that fealing that the force is like pushing you up and maverick feals like your falling out of your seat forwards the 1st drop and on the 2nd hill it feals like millennium and on top thrill it has the oppisite of millennium instead of it fealing like the force puching u up it feals like its pushing you down and that why these 3 coasters are some of the best coasters onThe world

aperently uve only been on maverick once or twice because everytime you go on it after like the 4th and so on it gets boaring like i went to cedar point like 4 days ago and went on millenium force 3 times in a row and on the third time i felt no thrill going down can u belive that and out of all that was my 10th time going on it

oh ino when i went on millenium 3 times in a rwo the line was 1 hour all day but maverick is usually always full so you dont ride rollercoasters often do you? ive been on maverick like 6 times and its fun but it got to the point where its not worth w8ting 2 hours for it maybe 1 hour so i guess to make rollercoasters fun dont ride them to often

I got lucky enough to be 1 of 6 people on the last train of the night the last time I was there. The park was dark and quiet by the time I got on so it was almost pitch dark. I am almost positive that thing was going faster than 93 mph due to almost no one being on the train.. that was a kick ass way to end the night.

the reason it feels like its going faster is becasue it is, but only 1 to 3 mph more, its not becasue of the lack of people its the track cooling down and allowing the wheels to just cruise with less friction. go during halloweekends and ride it late at night front row, the experience of a life time right there

Last year we rode it at night during Halloweekends. As we were going down the first hill, I saw we were diving into a dry ice fog, the rest of the ride was engulfed in it, you couldn't see anything through the whole ride. It was wicked. =D

1. It isn't physically possible for it to move faster with LESS weight in it, unless it is having mechanical problems.
2. Roller coasters go faster once they have warmed up. Cold runs in the morning are almost always slower, and in the case of rides like Dragster, the probability of a morning roll back vs a mid-day roll back is much higher

you are correct, but what i was saying is at night, after all the trains bearings and moving parts have been warming up all day it plays a big factor at night...believe it or not just like wooden coasters the weather and temperature affects the steel coasters too, not nearly as much but it does. so when it does cool down its simple science to know that the molecules will huddle together causing the steel to shrink very little but that little bit does affect the ride experience

I find the ride boring after the first drop. Forceless over bank turns and drawn out hills with little to no airtime, is not my type of ride. And the long waits don't help either.

Nope. Millenium Force may be big, but aside from the first drop, it doesn't really do that much other than hold it's speed. And the asshole operators don't help. Anyways, Good Video Cody.
