Just subbed, well deserved. I am listen to some real underground stuff, mainstream here and there just for the sake of having conversation. But nothing ever makes me bob my head to the classics and masterful pieces one can consider rap. It's surprising how good the quality of this beat and mix in general is. Keep on doing what you do. @BLAZE45 thanks homie! I've NEVER used ANY sounds from the software itself. nor will I ever. not a single sound from FL7. ONLY use samples. drum breaks from records, & different breaks layered together... then all samples come from records.. I filter out the bass from some samples to get the bass and I mix samples with diff samples from diff records. No MPC. just vinyl records and a choppin program. I like it very visual. but I love SP1200's and MPC60s so when I can afford em they'll be mines.

I dont like hip hop beats from scratch by creating your own melodies... samples all day 4 life. not a single drum sound from FL. all drums come from records, which are then chopped up, and layered with diff drum sounds to create new. then I create my own pattern. thanks homie! appreciate it!

@BLAZE45 usually never give out samples but I dont mind for this one... the sample is Abrahams Theme - Vangelis from the '81 score "Chariots of Fire". thats the melody. the drums are from many different records... layered together. thats how you get FAT drums... layer layer layer. you can buy records at record stores all over the world and online. you can import to your comp with a USB turntable if you dont have any other equipment. da REAL DEAL is hardware with vinyl drums. but this makes due.
