  • That fan is insane. I want to toss things into it to see what happens.

  • @ScytheNoire And old friend is sending me his collection of insane fans. I bet there are a few in there like this one. I want to levitate something off the bench...like me or my cat or one of the kids :p

  • how many volts?

  • how much does one of these fans cost

  • FrozenCPU is where I got mine. At the time it was right around $80 with the finger guard and Priority Mail shipping.

I have one sitting in a drawer.

  • These are rebranded Nidec TA600DC's straight sides.

I have a pair of TA600DC's that are roundsides, but only 240cfm. I cut a hole on the side of my case for it, near the graphics card. It moves a ton of air and is not terribly loud, but a switch helps that.

Its not as bad as something like a delta whiner, because it dosen't whine and only moves at 3350rpm.

  • They may be but I doubt it. Pelko is a manufacturer of fans and they have no reason to buy Nidecs and relabel them...I'd think. FrozenCPU told me they have to order a large number at one time because Pelko makes them for them on spec.

  • People also think that Thermaltake, Xclio, and corsair make their own power supplies, when all three of those companies power supplies are actually made by Channel Well Technologies.

  • Thanks for this vid man :P

  • TOUCH IT TOUCH IT TOUCH IT!

  • You saw me back up :D

  • That is a insane fan watch your hands CD.

  • A grid of protection for the hands is necessary.

    In particular for children.

    Very Dangerous.

  • I was actually afraid.

  • lol.

  • I have one like it but its a Nidec TA6000DC. Did you ever use it for a build?

I have got a few Deltas & nidecs for my new build but they are very loud, Should be ok used with a rheostat though?

  • One of the first ones I got years back was labeled 24VDC and ran at a tolerable dba at 12VDC and when dialed down with a 5 watt rheostat was almost silent while still pushing a lot of air. The ones in this vid are a new batch FrozenCPU restocked with and they are loud as hell at 12VDC and even turned down are still kind of loud for my ears to tolerate all day. If I had known how good those first ones were I would have tried to get more of the 24VDC labelled units.
