It's called having a natural ear for music... and having a ton of air support.... i suggest learning to play a wind instrument like a trombone, trumpet, baratone... if you can learn how to push air through an instrument like that, you will be able to sustain long notes as a singer with great air support... trust me.

I think Demi, Miley and Selena all have their own unique voices and styles and I idolize each of them for their hardvwork and talents.

For me, I like Demi's style. I just like her music better. Of course, I haven't heard much of Selena, but I'm sure I'll like it.

well different types of music call for diffferent techniques of singing. if she sustained the ends of her notes, it would have sounded more like a ballad, or whatever its called. but yeah, i think she sounds great.
