Tupac, I felt the movie was a bit bi-ased towards ma man PAC, made him out to be more like, "the bad guy". I didn't dig that shit. This film was ight but didn't make me cry, like some say it was so deep they nearly cried. Make a film like this bout Pac, that shit'll make you cry, Tupac Resurrection was enuff to make me shed a tear & that was a fuckin documentary. But anyways, RIP Pac & BIG.
Thanks! The film was actually not an easy one to review because there were potential loose ends in some parts of the story, which got tied up eventually. Overall, the essence of the performance by Jamal Woolard, the structure of the stories and director George Tillman's careful approach not to glorify the gangster-pimp aspects of Biggie Smalls, were smart decisions. "Notorious" was a very good balancing act indeed.
