  • 4min 49sec is just another reason why ninja where seen as magic can you imagine fighting this guy in the dark it would seem your fighting more then one person. Look at the smoothe movements ! This guys smoothness is what I hope to achieve. This guy is number one. Just whish he lived here in my state.

  • なんでこんなに、しゃべりながら速く動けるんだろう・・・

    相当カラダ鍛えてるオリンピック級の人でも、こんな風にしゃべりながらでは

    動けない。しゃべるか、動くか、どっちかしか出来ない。

  • We've got Youtube.

And it makes us some SpongeBob !

  • He is a good teacher.it's your problem that you can not understand what he is saying.at least his students has really good skill.

  • @simplynotfact ふーん、君は彼の言っていること理解できてるの?

  • I'm japanese. But I can't understand what he intend to teach. As great he is as Swordsman, he is not good teacher. He have Inadequate linguistic ability. It makes him mysterious. Don't mention my bad English.

  • So many important things he is showing. Even if you don't perform sword techniques like he does, the elements being shown are universal to good movement.

  • 動きが尋常じゃないのはわかるんだけど、どうやったらいいのか全くわからないです。

  • The pen is mightier than the sword.....because Geico says so!!

  • Purple lazers always win.

  • @sijotakane Are you willing to teach it to me? If not please stop complaining.

There are no classes near where I live... Well, there are; but they get shut down due to lack of students. I stopped signing up for them after 3 semesters in a row got cancled.

Stop being so rude, it's not nice.

  • 前後斬りは、骨盤の仙腸関節の開閉をうまくコントロールすると

    回らずに出来るように感じます。

  • You have dishon'ad my famiry..

    I wirr kirr you!

  • ぴょこたん、ぴょこたん

  • Master Tetsuzan Kuroda is sublime. The epitome of deceptive simplicity.

  • I don't understand japanese, but it looks like he is angry against his students. :D

  • @dmoneyxd There is more to martial arts than simply pulling a trigger. More than combat. Any fool can do that.

Anyway if you got within ten feet of this guy and tried to pull that shit, you'd be dead before you even upholstered.

  • @phadedlife Your just ignorant, in real life he would die, even withing 10 feet, in movies yeah the samurai could win.

  • @dmoneyxd

No he wouldn't. Even Jim Wagner and some other high military folks state that within 10 feet a knife or sword is absolutely more deadly than any gun...

  • @ExtremeDeathman if they really say that then they shouldn't even touch guns because they obviously don't know how to use them by talking shit like that

  • @dmoneyxd You should probably test this theory yourself. Please go to a few guys who really know their swords. I guarantee that no matter your training you are not gonna be able to do anything, unless you stay with the gun pointed towards the guys head or something. The current record for unsheathing+sheathing a sword is 0.2 seconds.

I am sure you can measure how fast you can pull out a pistol and there is no chance in hell you do it in 0.2 seconds.

  • @Myhai01 he still has to attack, even if hes right in front of you he can still loose, even with an unsheathe attack because it wont be fast enough, did you know that Bob Munden can draw his Colt .45 from his holster, cock the hammer and fire accurately at a target in less than 2/100ths of a second?that's faster than a blink of an eye my friend

  • @dmoneyxd Dude, when I say unsheath, it means, unsheath and cut. Really, go to a really good guy which practices Iaido. And do some interesting sparring, with unsharp weapons and some kind of bullets like those for paintball or something.

At 10 feet, less than 3 meters you are basically dead before you know it. I've seen it. I know you probably know your guns, but I've worked with police AND in swordfighting quite a bit. So unless you've seen good guys with both pistol AND sword,...

  • @dmoneyxd And regarding Bob Munden, you should learn about the controversy surrounding him. What I am talking about is pretty recent and documented.

  • @Myhai01 ok fine im not saying that a gunfighter will win every single time but he wont loose every single time either, it can go 1000 different ways

  • @dmoneyxd You are right here. Guns generally have a lot of advantage like relative ease of training and use. I am talking about is effectiveness of the weapons, in close range (under 15 feet / 5 meters), by two professionals. I believe there was a study regarding gun versus knife attack and the range at where the gunner would win always, was at about 7 meters (20 feet).

Ofc, you can not always win. In the end, what matters is which weapon are you most comfortable with.

  • @dmoneyxd

Tell that the Sergeants and Majors which made that statement and experienced it first hand...

Maybe you just should go to a Jim Wagner Combat training and try to shoot him in this range with a paintball gun.

I think you certainly would get busted up...

  • @ExtremeDeathman sergeants are rusty and majors forget how to shoot quickly since they don't work physically anymore, forget them man im talking about real people who can shoot in an blink of an eye

  • @dmoneyxd

Please tell this some Sergeants and Majors here in Hohenfels. There definetely not rusty and old...

  • @phadedlife Agree entirely. Kuroda soke's focus and control of self is total. From that comes abilities and sensitivity to his environment which appears supernatural and yet is attainable by anyone. See also sf10th77's post.

  • "When confronting an opponent one aims for a level where the movements of his mind and body control the opponent before his sword swings. This is the highest level of swordsmanship. It seems to be a rather abstract spiritual teaching, that’s not at all the case. It is an “invisible” technique which consists of advanced technical movements and the workings of the spirit based on these movements. All martial arts training begins with learning how to perceive this invisible element." Master Kuroda

  • please post more of this. if there is more footage

  • very very prooooo ........

  • leern japanese

  • 黒田鉄山マッチョ(笑)

  • 1:29 He's saying that the "regular" way of swinging the sword has a lot of wasted, useless movement, and thus slower.

  • In terms of subs.. from my limited Japanese mist of what he is saying is well demonstrated by his movements and gestures etc, although I am sure there is a lot more depth than what I understood..

  • For what it's worth: if these videos weren't here on youtube, I would never even have gotten word of this remarkable man.. DVD set, here I come ;p

  • Comment removed

  • I am doing aikido ...i love everyhing that has to do with japan...not only their martial arts but their life style as well...nice video...

  • @122113314747 come to japan!

  • This is an excerpt from one of Kuroda-sensei's videos that was available in Japan in the early-1990s.

It would take a A LOT of time to provide an English equivalent for what he is saying, TKTO13!!

  • English subtitles anyone?

  • @tkto13 you don't need English subtitiles, you need to focus on Sensei Kuroda's movement.

  • @tkto13 Just read body movement. Language is just verbal interpritation of emotion, the body is just one big transmitter of emotion.

  • @tkto13 Learn Japanese.

  • thanks for posting this.

    how is this disrespectful??

actully,I think,it shows respect, that we are taking our time,to watch this.

there only going to be like 20 people in the whole world, who are actully interested in this stuff.

  • @Shinkatana420

It's disrespectful because this is from a DVD which is meant for sale, and posting this up is an infringement of copyright law.

  • The budo culture preceded any copyright law. There is no such thing as Illusionary Property.

  • @jackchn

uh... since this is clearly only a clip, it CLEARLY falls under the purview of FAIR USE.

  • @jackchn pretty sure this short clip will only attract more potential purchasers. and i dont think Kuroda is out for money...

  • Thank for the posting. Don´t mind about the other comments. Keep on posting things like this.

  • Although grateful to be able to see Kuroda Sensei again, I do feel that this is disrespectful...

  • Should you be posting videos from Kuroda Sensei's DVD? That infringes copyright and is disrespectful.
