So sorry for your loss! I'm not sure what happened, but it seems that he took his own life. I lost one of my friends the same way 20 years ago right before our HS graduation. You never can know what causes them to make such a final decision; blaming them or yourselves won't help.  Hang in there and please know that if there is anyone else out there feeling this way - PLEASE talk to someone. THERE is always hope! I know because I've been there. Life is precious.
