  • what are the specs on the rims?

  • how wide are your rims?

  • Yes, I'm the idiot, not the guy who feels the need to type in all caps and doesn't know how to spell. How about you go build your own then post about that. Spend about 5 minutes on LS1tech.

  • ITS DAM FUNNY HOW PPL DONT KNOW WTF THEY ARE WRITING HOW DID U BORE A 5.3 TO A 5.7 IF THE 4.3, 5.3 AND 5.7 HAVE THE SAME SIZE PISTONS HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA THERE ARE PLL OUT HERE THAT KNOW

  • @kagus6666 no, it's damn funny how people like you don't research topics before you talk smack. A 5.3 and 5.7 do not share the same bore. A 5.3 having 96.01mm bore and the 5.7 having a bore of 99.1mm. The 5.3 actually shares the same bore with the 4.8 but gets its larger displacement from the 92mm stroke. I know this is a 2 month old post but i couldn't resist..Like CobraSpdRH said, spend about five minutes on LS1tech. Maybe next time i see you post you will have something educated to say.

  • @kagus6666 im sorry but what you just said was horribly retarded. they do not have the same size pistons hints why they are a 5.3L and a 5.7L they obviously have different cubic inches so you would have to bore it to a 5.7 to make the same amount of cubes

  • how much it cost to bore it out?

  • were did u buy the gauges at ???

  • @elmero219r Gauges were from Summit. Standard Autometer with a custom display.

  • @elmero219r thanks

  • what ignition box/system were u using for thecarb??.im doin the same setup..thanks

  • @lablue350 MSD for ignition, GM performance parts for the intake manifold.

  • awwh carb :(

  • FYI this truck is SOLD!

  • complete moron. an ls1 is a 5.7 stock. you didn't bore it out

  • It is a 5.3L out of a full size truck that was bored to 5.7, iron block instead of aluminum jackass.

  • ok then its not an ls1,

  • Nope, it is actually a Vortec 5300 it is just easier to call it an LS1 for those who don't know the LS series engine. So yeah iron 5.3L bored to 5.7.

  • did you bore it yourself? i have a 2000 gmc sierra with the 5.3

  • Not myself, had a machine shop do it, not really that expensive. I just put a GMPP Hot Cam in it and it ran great.

  • how did you get the auto meter gauges to work???? i have a 99 silverado and i want to do that i havent been able to find out frome anyone how to do it

  • analog gauges work as long as your attaching them to an analog signal, besides wih digital gauges, once something goes wrong,EVERYTHING goes wrong haha

  • carbed ls1??? Cheater!
