  • My bullitt handles great but its WAY too heavy. I never "push" the car through turns like I used to. Its fun but once you're past the limit its difficult to bring back. too nice of a car to wreck. I treat mine as a touring car rather than a time attack car, that it is not.

  • @akirasovan Way to take it personally "Akir." For a car with 245 tires and 275 HP 3200 lbs is heavy in the context of straight line or handling performance. I have driven much better handling cars than my Bullitt. It is a great car but by no means the ultimate and by no means light weight.

I still have my Bullitt so its "don't know" WTF is a "mustang dyno tune" It was tuned on a mustang dyno? By whom? thats a type of dyno, not a tune. It sounds like you might have an overactive imagination and sensitive feelings.

  • This is VERY weak. I own a 2001 Bullit with Mustang Dyno tune, 3.90's, C&L Intake, pullies, the whole mess basically. I live in the curvy and treacherous mountains and have actually 'learned' how to drive. The power band in your car sir is from 4k-5k or so. Shift a little over 5k and you'll drop right back down to 4th with little power lag.

  • @akirasovan Mustang dyno tune? powerband is 4-5k? if you "really" learned how to drive you would know that the powerband is all the way from bout 2-2.5k all the way to 5k. and what do you mean by mustang dyno tune? its just a dyno tune no matter what car you got. and one last thought, what do you mean by whole mess? cuz so far it seems like you really dont know the best road for mods.

  • @The808monsta Two dyno versions exist, the Dynojet and Mustang (NOT THE CAR) dynamometer. The Mustang version uses inertia load and an eddycurrent brake to mimic 'actual load'.

    Second, 'learning how to drive' applies to more than understanding engine proficiency. I'd be willing to gamble pink slips on my cornering and shifting abilities any day.

    Third, an engine's powerband refers peak torque and peak horsepower. Point A = Tq and B = Hp. From point A to point B is known as the powerband.

  • @The808monsta "It" is not just a dyno-tune regardless of the car or machine being used.

    What do I mean by whole mess? Most all bolt on's. You don't seem to understand the modular 4.6l, because with Gear, Bullitt Intake Manifold, 3.90 Gears, CAI, Headers, Exhaust, Engine Pulleys, A Lightweight Flywheel, Short Throw Shifter PAIRED with a dynotune, plenty of rear wheel horsepower can be gained.

    I don't know the best mods for the road? The Bullitt comes with nice handling, + those mods? Psssht

  • This guy need to learn to shift. The optimal power band on the bullitt is 3.5/4k-5k.

  • What with all the hate for the 2V Mustangs? I love mine to death, sure the 4Vs are better but the 2vs are not that bad at all. Intake, exhaust and tune and they haul, add gears to that and wooohoooo!

  • hello everyone. this is my bullitt and my shitting driving. in my defense of this video i had the car for about a week and a half and did not know how to drive stick at all and i was shifting slow so i wouldnt grind. Also i did not have a clue how to drive this car. i have now had it a lot longer and know how to drive it and can say the car can do a whole lot more than i did. ill repost a new video soon so you can actually see what it does.

    and they dont get 9mpg like your Chevy or whatever with a big engine. Ford made the 4.6L to perform and last. and yet it gets 26mpg

  • Coming from someone in college on their 3rd mustang, a cobra at that- you are retarded. I get like 18mpg mixed driving. 24mpg on the highway with cruise control. The ls1 with a t-56 can hit 31mpg highway pretty easy. Yay for 2 overdrive gears.
