@barrelracingchick10 those are called polo bandages if u got a hard time to buy them on the internet,check if u got a horse track near your city and you will find them for sure at their tack shop!

You can tell that this gal will work on the fundamentals like lead changes before she goes to picking up speed. If you get this down then your horse has a better chance of becoming push button. Sharon is a great teacher and if you get a chance to work with her then go for it.

I know this video is old, but I thought if you didn't mind me giving you a tip that help me get my horses first barrel picture perfect. My tip is Tapping off. I see so many barrel racers make the mistake of pointing their horses to the 1st barrel as they run into the arena. Try comin in strait with the 3rd barrel and that way you can give your horse the pocket she needs to make that perfect first barrel. happy trainning!!

Your horse is pretty, but not picking up the left lead. She looks calm and relaxed though. I wouldn't add any speed until you had her picking up the correct leads.
