im 5'10 360 lbs i wanna burn fat and build muscle. I have a 50 lb kb and i want to know is this a workout for me to start with? and if so how many days a week and how many weeks until i move on to workout #2
@xxxnOSmoKIngxxx Use a lighter one to start with and just get your techniques down and then upgrade as you see fit. Your stats aren't really important just whatever your comfortable with.
Yo!!!! Those halos are no joke. I love them. I could not do the windmills touching my right toe. My left knee started to crack. Any recommendations. Thank you so much for posting.
Hi, i am new to kettlebells and was wondering what you would reccommend a good weight to start with? I only weigh 140lbs, but it is pretty much mostly FFM and am in pretty good physical condition.
Hey i was just wondering, as i have never used a kettlebell before, what weight you recommend to be using to start off with? I only weigh 140lbs myself, but that is pretty much all FFM.
hey buddy,, tried your beginner workout 1 for the first time and i have to say it was more demanding than what i expected but managable,,, in your opinon mbody, would it be ok for me to try beginner 2 or should i continue this workout a few sessions more before advancing on
Hey there Mbodystrength,, watched the video and performed the routine yesterday,, totally underestimated the workout, probably cause its labelled beginner,, i,ve never experienced D.O.M.S in my obliques region and my lats havent ached like this in all my past year of weight training,,, all contributed from doing halo squats and windmills,, totally underestimated the workout,,, How long before i try beginner workout 2 or should i already be doing that to compliment my on going kettlebell training
I'm doing something different. I tried doing ten minutes of two handed swings with a 4kg bell. I did this because I usually use the rowing machine at the gym and I like the cardio workout it gives me.
I've found the kettlebell to be a bit too demanding. Which is a shame, because it really works the core harder than anything else.
@19grand Uhh, what this remind me is that my husband had similar trouble with weight training, but felt OK after "cardio" (cycling). He could lift less than me, and had all the exhaustion and pains after. It turned out later that he has issues with his blood sugar, which inhibited proper recovery, most obviously after doing weights. Now that he is on diet, he develops wonderfully. So, maybe experiment a bit with what you eat!
I'm a beginer to kettlebells. Everytime I use them I feel I have over-trained and feel lethargic for a few days. Which is odd 'cause I use the lightest bell I could find. Mayb emy reps are too high, or does your body get used to it?
which muscles does the first workout train?
