My Flowmaster AM Thunder CB sounds amazing with a my recent swap to a UPR O/R MID X-Pipe so i disagree a little on that one man as far as the H-Pipe goes..But you def made the right choice and getting the org 40 series they have the best sound.k later

Theres 2 on each side, none are in the headers whatsoever. The first 2 are called pre cats.

Yes,there are 4 cats which are easily removed..He must have the delta flow 40's this car has the org 2 chamber 40's which are best for that classic Flowmaster muscle car sound.I actually have 98 GT for sale lots of bolt ons and P.I. Definitely an H pipe. Flowmasters don't sound that great with a X pipe. 40 Series Flowmasters sound WONDERFUL with a off-road H pipe. =)

it depends, cause i put super 44's on my 02gt and it took about 2 days to get the sound it has now. If you have other mods such as Intake it will sound deeper but the volume at high rpms will drop.

They are not loud enough at idle or cruising to be overly obnoxious. You would be fine with them. They really shine around 2k RPM or when you really get onto it.
