Its sort of an alternate reality, I guess. They are not realted to the original powerpuff girls at all.

The short guy is Ken, Proffesor Utonium's son...

Well, I started to feel a little better about it after a while but I was convinced they butchered Blossom's personality. Well watching this part I feel it isn't as bad as I thought but I certainly would watch the original any day. I still think they butchered Buttercup a little because she hates skirts TOO much. It's unnatural considering the original.

Heard on wikipedia that ppgz would air the first episode in fall or spring of this year on American CN. It doesn't look since all the shows on CN are dumb or stupid and seeing how they don't air anime anymore it would not have major viewers. I myself somewhat hate it and they need a new dub. One that doesn't sound stupid. The original is far better. Hopefully it will change views on CN. The only good thing to come out of CN is when they say goodnight and adult swim is on. Oh, but Blossom does have a little sister who looks like a PPG, but with a yellow color scheme. I can't remember her Japanese name, and I'm American, so I don't know what they'd change her name to. And, Utonium has a son named Ken, according to the Japanese one. I have no idea how the English ones names him.

Actually the English Dub Episodes of PPGZ are YET available in the Philippines. Which means that Philippines have only the English Dubbed Episodes. Don't know about Canada, but I'm sure they have because Ocean Group is a Canadian Dubbing Company. Understood?

Plus the show was co-produced by CN and Toei so there was the intention of packaging the anime for japanese and english-speaking audiences separately. Plus I don't see much change in the show story-wise, it's just the scoring, opening and closing that they changed.
