If you're refering to when heavy under acceleration, if tires let loose, worst thing you can do is shift when the velocity of the car is still slow. Assuming tires lets say spin at launch, and wheels are spinning at 50mph, and car movement is 10mph, shifting (espeically a turbo'd car) is a bad move, you lose your powerband, and the boost. So wheelspin alltho is slowing you down, shifting up without proper speeds to due so, results in slower times/speeds.

If you're refering to when heavy under acceleration, if tires let loose, worst thing you can do is shift when the velocity of the car is still slow. Assuming tires lets say spin at launch, and wheels are spinning at 50mph, and car movement is 10mph, shifting (espeically a turbo'd car) is a bad move, you lose your powerband, and the boost. So wheelspin alltho is slowing you down, shifting up without proper speeds to due so, results in slower times/speeds.
If thats not what you meant, then nvm.

No he doesn't, he has a 2 step. He also doesn't know how to use a car. He bounces off the limiter, it's just set low because him and his tuner know he can't drive, so it's set low so he doesn't over-rev it and blow it up.
Yes it is damaging his engine, just not as much as it would be if he didn't have his limiter set so low
