I was 11yrs old when my grandfather came to live with us after being homeless for awhile. We lived in IL but he ran off to Kentucky because he was not allowed to drink in our home bc my mom grew up with him drinking and wouldn't put up w it in front of he kids. He was homeless for years in ky but got an apartment and a job before he died. He ended up dying w a roof over his head.

You know nothing about me or what people have to go thru to try to get out of the mess theyre in.
