Watch some of these episodes, and i have to say that it is totally different from the last 8 seasons. it isn't as funny as the other seasons (but it does have its times) and not all the characters are in it. Carla isnt in the episodes i've watched and elliot is only in one scene for the few episodes i have watched. But overall its a good change from the old scrubs.
That's why the producer tried to call it something else, but ABC wouldn't let him. Probably, because the name Scrubs would gain more attention than a new name would. But, your right it wont be the same Scrubs. Especially, since the only returning regulars for the whole season are Dr. Cox and Turk. Peace.

The old sacred heart got torn down. The new hospital was rebuilt on campus, but is only half completed as they ran out of funds.
