Had a 21Lb on the pole last week on caster.

Fished Lake John about 6 years ago had several nice Tench over 2 lb . I would go again!

i live near upshre this is a great lake .if ur going fora nice day going on the feeder and youl have tench bream carp the lot.always have a carp rod out just incase of the ice carp coming along.but u do have loads of bream pon leisure.float fishing des the job also,i now its not huge buthad a nice lttle 14lb9oz carp in th margin o its wort a try ; )

i live pretty close to hear but ive never tried goin ive only been fishing for about a year now so im not brilliant but if any one could let me know if it is a hard or easy lake to fish and if u catch regulary

Yeah its a fine water had several 30s and loads of 20s biggest just a few ounces shy of 40lb.

I'm off there again today and Sunday for a short session both days.

Been getting lots of success off the top and down the first margin ledge on big chunks of meat if you can get through the bream.

nice i had a 25lb 8oz, 18lb 2oz and two 12lb mirror carp from that lake 2 winters ago.
