Those are the reasons I cannot hate Disney itself. I can hate the dreck that comes from the current Disney, but I will always look back on my childhood and remember their amazing animated musicals. I look at their work with Power Rangers and Digimon and applaud them for going the mature route for the two series.

Disney does not advertise Kingdom Hearts, Power Rangers and Digimon, for a very strange reason, I do think that they have a market for it, and yet, they allow HM, JB and dreck like them ruin what is otherwise a great company. The 1990's specifically were Disney's finest in terms of music. Their animated musicals are amazing, music-wise. What angers me the most is that they allow JB to do covers of GOOD Disney songs, and in turn, ruin them.
Finally, good use of motifs. The first two seasons had a light and darkness motif. All five seasons have a fate motif, however, they look at fate as something that can be changed, if you have the will enough. Only in Terminator 2 as this really been done. The concept of a changeable fate differs in each season, with 4 and 5, having been done by Disney, being strangely honest about how your path of fate can lead to death, pain and suffering.
Next, 3 dimensional characters. Each character had some sort of backstory, from the minor characters to the main, to even the villains. T.K. and Kari are perhaps the best examples. T.K. has two sides to him, due to his experience of a divorce at a very early age. He has one side, caring, and another, more brutal side. Kari is similar, though she has more of a selfless personality, but is willing to see the death of an enemy should it have to come to it.
Some of you may ask what made Digimon different from say, Pokemon? First of all, it had something called character development. Characters evolved over time. The best examples would be Ken Ichijouji. He went from an evil bastard, to a self loathing emo before finally forgiving himself of his sins when everyone else already forgave him. Another would be the whole cast of Frontier. All started generally unlikeable, but grew onto becoming heroes. Even the dub kept these changes.
3) Digimon. Do I even need to explain this? Disney does the dubbing for this, and yes, while they did what Saban did, that is, add in unnecessary jokes to make it more kid friendly, there are just some parts that stop it from being mindless. All five seasons it has been running, there has been many things in the show that were not censored. Obviously, fighting amongst the human characters had to be white flashed. In both Saban and Disney, Digimon did not differ from the source material.
2) Power Rangers. Say what you will, but the Power Rangers were a huge part of my childhood. And the first theme was far too obviously metal inspired, with a solo that seems to be directly inspired by Mr. Crowley, Crazy Train, Eruption and One. When Saban sold the rights to Disney, they took it and ran with it, creating some memorable seasons (Dino Thunder marking the return of Tommy!) and some not so memorable (Operation Overdrive and Jungle Fury). RPM is perhaps bold, (Road Warriors PR.)
1) Kingdom Hearts. This is a series that, in my mind, deserves to be a Video Game Series of the Decade candidate. An RPG that decides to take a risky venture by combining the general happiness Disney had been known for with the progressively intricate and dark storylines that permeate Final Fantasy. For Disney to allow Mickey Mouse, their mascot, to become vengeful to the point of homicide, to allow an ambiguous relationship that is Sora and Riku, that takes guts.

I'm 18. I'm not 13. I’m fan of their music. "I dnt tlk lyke dis." I use propper grammar. I also like an array of other types of music, like Lights (Synth music), Brooke Fraser, Matchbook Romance, etc. I don't just like the Jonas Brothers. I'm not obsessed with them. I don't think I'll marry any of them. I like them mostly for what they stand for. I don't use "OMJ". I don't think they're the best thing to happen to the world, or music. I don't think Nick is the bravest person in the world.

Without Disney, the Jonas Brothers would be packing bags right now. Raven Symone is a good example. Once she left Disney, she became completely forgoten and nobody gives a shit about her now. I respect the Jonas Brothers as people, but not as musicians. Them and all those other artists shouldn't be victims of the Walt Disney Company. Yes, indeed, I do listen to Pantera. I even went to Hairball concert [= It was ahmazing! I didnt know some fo the songs, but I knew like maybe ten or tweleve and I actually wanted to go to the concert too, my dad didnt force me. To be honest, the 'who's hotter', JB VS Children of Bodom thing is strictly personal, but I agree with a lot of what you said, especially about the 'I'll become Mrs. Jonas' part. It's not really the Jonas Brothers themselves that I hate, but the fangirls. I'm pretty sure that they'll all move on to the next boy band as soon as the Jonas Brothers are over.

Those are the reasons I cannot hate Disney itself. I can hate the dreck that comes from the current Disney, but I will always look back on my childhood and remember their amazing animated musicals. I look at their work with Power Rangers and Digimon and applaud them for going the mature route for the two series.

Disney does not advertise Kingdom Hearts, Power Rangers and Digimon, for a very strange reason, I do think that they have a market for it, and yet, they allow HM, JB and dreck like them ruin what is otherwise a great company. The 1990's specifically were Disney's finest in terms of music. Their animated musicals are amazing, music-wise. What angers me the most is that they allow JB to do covers of GOOD Disney songs, and in turn, ruin them.

All five seasons have a fate motif, however, they look at fate as something that can be changed, if you have the will enough. Only in Terminator 2 as this really been done. The concept of a changeable fate differs in each season, with 4 and 5, having been done by Disney, being strangely honest about how your path of fate can lead to death, pain and suffering.

Some of you may ask what made Digimon different from say, Pokemon? First of all, it had something called character development. Characters evolved over time. The best examples would be Ken Ichijouji. He went from an evil bastard, to a self loathing emo before finally forgiving himself of his sins when everyone else already forgave him. Another would be the whole cast of Frontier. All started generally unlikeable, but grew onto becoming heroes. Even the dub kept these changes.

3) Digimon. Do I even need to explain this? Disney does the dubbing for this, and yes, while they did what Saban did, that is, add in unnecessary jokes to make it more kid friendly, there are just some parts that stop it from being mindless. All five seasons it has been running, there has been many things in the show that were not censored. Obviously, fighting amongst the human characters had to be white flashed. In both Saban and Disney, Digimon did not differ from the source material.

1) Kingdom Hearts. This is a series that, in my mind, deserves to be a Video Game Series of the Decade candidate. An RPG that decides to take a risky venture by combining the general happiness Disney had been known for with the progressively intricate and dark storylines that permeate Final Fantasy. For Disney to allow Mickey Mouse, their mascot, to become vengeful to the point of homicide, to allow an ambiguous relationship that is Sora and Riku, that takes guts.

I'm gonna get on my pedestal and talk about a few things.
I am a metalhead. And I hate the JB. I really do. My little sister listens to them all the time and it drives me nuts. I have recently fixed my desktop, and now use ti to blast as much metal as possible.
However, about your anti-Disney comment, there are actually a few things I have to say about that. I will not join that movement, because Disney owns three things I happen to have a lot of attachment to.

I'm not stupid, I have a 4.0 GPA.. And I don't regret a DAMN thing.

well, it's the same to me, as i first heard of the jonas brothers (long time after they became famous ;D) i expected them to be an 60's rock'n'roll group like the beverly brothers ^_^
so i watched a few videos from them
i didn't like the first, so i watched 3 or 4 else, and as i didn't like them eather, i didn't anymore give a shit about them
so for now on each and every time i see a video or something else from them on TV, i switch the channel, because i just don't like the music ;)

You should play a wider variety of metal for your videos. Like Death metal (All kinds, there's a lot) Tech metal, Progressive, Symphonic, melodic, Black metal, Folk metal, neo-classical metal etc.
Not just power/opera metal. (Although Nightwish is good, too.)
