i would just like to see the speed that hes gettin right now. ive raced 5.4 fords and a newer ones ive beat titans and tundras and my last victory was a chevy with some mods. and my truck is bones stock but i also lost to a lightning after my speed limiter kicked in and stopped me at 107 but by 100 i was a few car length ahead of him so i really gotta see how come that one is so slow

@TheJeepguycj5 I've heard all kinds of complaints about the Dodge transmissions, but honestly my dad's Cummins never had problems. Had a 5.9 with a 4-speed auto and a 6.7 with a 6-speed auto. Neither transmission ever had problems, towing, beating the crap out of it, anything, no problems. And the axles, never heard of those having problems, but I dunno.

@MarineHawk117 Yeah it should... The 5.4L ford has 320HP 390TQ and the Hemi 5.7 has 390hp 407TQ not much difference in TQ but kinda big difference in HP ratings, but the HEMI does weight 5,500lbs compared to the F150's 5,000lbs that helps a bit but not much.

A 500horse 6-speed regular cab vs a Quad Cab 4WD 300hp 4-speed? The SRT-10's aren't as great as you think. They are so close with the Ford Lightning that a race between the two depends on the driver not the truck. And Dodge has to extra gears and 120hp more. SO ya FORD is better.

4. Gear ratio is another thing. 3.21 in a Ram sucks. 3.55 is good. 3.92 is the best. 4.21 is unpractical. Which ratio did this ram have? Probably 3.21.If they don't have the towing package, there's a good chance they're 3.21.

Everyone knows stock Ford F-150s are the slowest stock full-size trucks. Know why? They've got 4-speed auto transmissions. Really NOT made for racing. Furthermore, Ford didn't design the 5.4L for racing. I know for a fact a stock 06 Quad cab F-150 5.4L V8 gets 0-60 in 8+ seconds. I've raced one. Stock 05 Ram Hemi Quad gets 0-60 in 7.0 seconds.
