If you knew the story of the Clash, the Clash never wanted to sign to a major label but Bernie Rhodes tricked them by parking in front of a small record label the band thought they were signing to but handed them the CBS contract and the band signed it not finding out till later it was for CBS hence the song "Complete Control"
Yeah o.k. mate but Steve Ignorant is now doing Crass for the money with no members of Crass. Penny gave him the o.k. but is not pleased about it. Steve was also doing Crass with Conflict (which I seen when I was in the U,K,) again for $ I have seen recent interviews with Steve and trust me he comes across as football watching beer swilling toss pot!
this is the best band ever so fuk evryone who sez otherwise!

CBS promote the Clash,
But it ain't for revolution, it's just for cash.
Punk became a fashion just like hippy used to be
And it ain't got a thing to do with you or me.

@Menace3434
I find it funny that Crass said that when The Clash forwent the royalties to Sandinista!
Not to mention selling London Calling for the price of a single album.
They were more interested in spreading their music.
I do agree that punk is dead though.
