@theangrypeter I did see his original look, but it wasn't as good as what he looked like in the actual movie. Not only that, but his voice in the trailer wasn't as sinister and dark as the how he sounded in the actual movie.

Looking back, that Felix head looks more like something you'd see out of a cheesy Felix the Cat video game from the 1990s!

I can't believe I liked this movie as a kid. Looking back, it's EXTREMELY bizarre!

Man, this is fucking eerie how unnatural it looks. It looks like someone's just rotating his head around with a mouse or something. I read on Wikipedia that motion capture was used, which makes sense.

@RossEStern I'm guessing that it was because CGI motion capture was a new thing back then, and maybe the filmmakers thought that it was a good idea to put it in to wow people. Being how it was apparently rendered and recorded in real time, it's actually pretty impressive for 1988.
